Perfect location, very nice staff at the reception. Everything nice. The breakfast area was under repair so we were sent to have breakfast in another top location. The door of the bathroom was of sliding type, not providing sound insulation and without a lock. Was not an issue for me, but it could have been if I would have stomach problems.

Perfect hotel for its money, very friendly personnel. The only downside is that there are two buildings and the breakfast served in just one of them, so in winter it is not too convenient.

Not easy to find and the signage for the next door strip club kinda throws you off the trail, but once you arrive it’s all good value for the money.

Good hotel and central location.
Nice hotel in the centre of town. The hotel had character staff are friendly it’s local to a lot of thousand restaurants. However there is a strip club opposite the hotel. We stayed on the top floor and didn’t have any disturbance from there. The beds were comfortable and the shower was nice and powerful. I would happily visit this hotel again.

Great location and very good breakfast. Negative is the sewer gas smell in the bathroom. The reception person explained that the pipes are very old and any renovation must be permitted and approved due to the historic nature of the property which takes time and money. Just keep the door closed to the bathroom and it's OK.

Decent hotel but service is poor!
The room extremely hot and the staff refused to look into the problem. One person was very rude and literally told us that they decide what temperature the rooms should be at, it’s not up to the guest! Our overall service was one of the worst I’ve ever seen, and I have travelled through many countries 😞

Dear Jayeeta, thank you very much for the feedback. It is not truth that the staff refused to look into the ´´issue´´. As was explained to you once temperature drops under certain temparature the ac will not go AUTOMATICLY on 100%. The first night was 12 degrees celsius, the second on was 10 degrees. The system cannot switched to different mode. This was explained to you twice, yet i wonder if it was so hot why did not you open the window. Both on the day we arrived and the day we left the elevator was out of service. Since we were on the top floor this was problematic. But the staff did help us carry our suitcases up and down. Would be nice if the beautiful garden was open all day instead of just for breakfast.

The hotel is in the heart of the old city. Very well maintained and very clean. The shower glass had some leaks in the corners of the sealing, so water from the shower would leak on to the floor. Other than this one thing, it was a great hotel, very comfortable and very convenient to anything that you could want to see. I walked everywhere with no trouble. It is a very nice city with good food and interesting history.

Great location. Only small issue is that it is across the “street” from a strip club. Just brings some colorful people down the same street. But we did not hear anything or have any issues.

Great location in the centre of old town. Very clean and good sized rooms. Definitely recommend. For some men, the strip joint is right across from hotel! ;-)

The location is great. Right in the gate. Odd strip club neighbors, but our room was very quiet all night. Basic breakfast but did the job. Nice staff at the desk.

Great place to stay in the old town and Dusan was a splendid, helpful receptionist. Avoid taxis at main train station like the plague-20 euros for a 5 minute ride and all apparently legal!!!

Old Town comfort
The hotel is in the heart of the old town. It was easier to find than I thought it would be coming from the train station. The room was nicely organised with integrated fridge which was nice to keep our drinks and food cold. It could get noisy in the height of the season as there is a club across the lane but we heard nothing and we were right across from the doors. Breakfast had a large offering of various foods. The staff were very friendly and were keen to chat with us. It was only one night but it was an enjoyable one.

Great location
The location was great, the breakfast really nice, and the staff friendly, helpful, and efficient. The room was compact, but big enough. The bed was two singles pushed together with two single quilts, not the double we would have preferred. Overall a very enjoyable stay in a lovely city.

Nice small hotel with breakfast. Rooms are nice but smaller, modern. Nice courtyard in the back too in which to have breakfast. My only complaint is that we had booked this hotel for location and because it had air-conditioning. When we arrived in a heat wave, we were told no air conditioning and they would kot have it for weeks. The appropriate thing would have been to inform us in advance with options.

Nice newer hotel but AC is not good.
This is a newer hotel in the main area in Bratislava. There is a dance cabaret across the street but noise was not an issue. Breakfast was so so and variety was limited. The air conditioner does not work very well so please be beware! There is only 1 or 2 staff members working so it is not the best for fast service.

Bit of a nightmare
This hotel was a nightmare. First, I arrived at about 10:30 PM as my bus was late. I had no idea/notification that the hotel closed the office at 10 AM, so after lugging about 50 lbs of suitcase through the pedestrian street to the hotel, I was met with a locked door and no one to check me in. After a pricey international call, I called, I managed to connect with the front desk at a sister hotel, and they let me in... only to find out the air conditioning was broken in the room. It was during a heatwave and the room itself easily exceeded 90/100 degrees Fahrenheit. The first night staff was apologetic enough, but I received radio silence after that. Supposedly, somebody was coming to fix the air, but that never happened. No one reached out to me, offered any compensation, etc. Not a pleasant stay.

Good hotel!
Hotel is pretty good! Small, but European style! The breakfast was really good and staff really friendly!!! Right in the middle of old town, good location, the only two concerns are that in front of the hotel there is a night club for gentlemans and can be pretty loud in the middle of the night and the second one no parking, so if you are driving have to park around 3 blocks away and pay for parking. Should pay at the hotel, they have a discount! Overall very good!!!

Excellent!
The staff were courteous, efficient and professional. Check-in was quick an easy. The room was a bit on the small side but clean and modern with very comfortable beds. Breakfast...yum yum! It was probably the best part of the stay! The location can't get any better. Overall it was excellent! Would definitely return!
