RESORT AMENITIES \-Saltwater pool THINGS TO KNOW Streaming services are available with guests’ account(s). This patio-level condo is 15 steps down to the front door. Parties are not permitted on this property. The Pool is closed on Labor Day and reopens on Memorial Day. There is no lifeguard on duty at the pool, children under the age of 12 need to be accompanied by an adult while swimming. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 5 vehicles. Security camera details: Ring camera on entry door. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) Very close to the pool which we loved! Your first glance of the property shows a beautiful and clean condo furnished with everything you may need during your stay. After looking around a bit I did notice several cleaning flaws such as dust bunnies on the bottom of the furniture and the underneaths of the meds were very dirty. The condo was adorable and perfect for us…UNTIL the smoke alarms started going off at 11:30pm! I called the company and while I was speaking to an agent, they stopped…weird. She stayed on the phone with me for about 2 minutes to make sure everything was ok, apologized, and told us to try to get some sleep. As soon as we tried to relax, they started going off again! This time, for less than a minute, and again stopped on their own. The third time the alarms went off, I contacted VRBO, as that is who I booked through. They proceeded to connect me to Vacasa again and a very incompetent agent who told me to to take the batteries out of the smoke alarms (which are clearly hard wired) or turn the breakers off and back on and someone will come look at them in the morning! I argued with that lady for a LONG time! The fifth time the alarms went off, I called Vacasa and told them they needed to fix the problem or I was simply going to call the local fire department. The sixth time, they finally connected me to a local maintenance person who gave us the option to move across the street to a different (if slightly smaller) unit. Which we gladly did, shortly after 1am! Moral of the story…if the booking suggests you download the Vacasa app and you get your information from Vacasa, cancel and rebook with someone else! While our original stay was booked in a different unit…that one had better amenities and was better equipped for our family. I would NOT recommend Vacasa. They told me they would follow up and have not.
