Music from pub until 11pm , right annoying and then again from 8am from staff in the bar, this place has no consideration for its guests upstairs, avoid unless you like awful bass coming through the building.

Amazing stay at Enchanted manor, from the moment we walked in the vibes were warm and friendly. The food and drinks were delicious and the red squirrels and badger feeding in the evenings was an amazing experience. Could not recommend this place more.

Another wonderful stay , the hotel is so beautifully decorated clean and owners so friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning is amazing with a fantastic choice cooked to order. The lady serving this is a treasure and can’t do enough for you. Will be back again to this amazing hotel by the sea .

I have a mixed review of the Bartley Lodge. It is on beautiful grounds and was one of the few hotels in the area with a (small) pool. We arrived early, and even though our room wasn't ready, they let us walk the grounds and use the pool, which was amazing. Our room was incredibly hot (granted it was during a heatwave, but our room was hotter than the hallway or anywhere else in the hotel). There was an A.C. unit in the room, but it was broken. The other complaint was about the toilet, which was very touchy about flushing. We called down to the front desk 3 times before someone came up to look at it. This employee was able to get it to flush, but mentioned that he gets complaints about the toilet often. We were only able to get it to flush occasionally and joked that you had to have the magic touch. The swimming pool was a lifesaver as was the grounds and gardens. It is a beautiful hotel, and we had good and not so good service there, so it definitely is a mixed review. I would probably recommend it with a few stipulations.

The setting is perfect, overlooking Freshwater Bay, and the hotel has been beautifully restored. Everywhere feels very spacious and comfortable. The staff are lovely and clearly wanted us to have a wonderful experience staying at the hotel. They dealt with my irritating dietary requirements with concern and professionalism and were all friendly and helpful. I can’t wait to go back.

"Great hotel ideally situated for anyone attending events at St Mary's stadium which is a short walk away. Around 15 mins walk from Southampton Central train station and Southampton High Street/West Quay. Breakfast was good and plentiful only negative I would say is that there isn't a lot of room ..."
