Cons: The coffee in the room was terrible and they could leave more coffee
Over all was good. Need renovation which is starting now. Better coffee in rooms would be nice.

Pool condition

We had a great stay, but it turned out that many people came to use the pool as did we. Way too many people in the pool, and so water clarity dropped off. Not really the hotels fault, but it did take away from. Our experience.

Christmas shopping

Good hotel. Pool was hectic as there was an 11 year old hockey tournament on. I recommend this hotel!

Poor customer service

Pros: Location and Tyson at the restaurant was very welcoming and his customer service was excellent.
Cons: Staff attitude
Location: Location is great.
The general managers reply to my complaint was poor. I have stayed at this hotel many times due to its location but the general managers poor customer service will make me rethink my stay there on my next trip.

Great stay!

Location: Fun n games arcade Thunderbird Bowling Little Shoppe
Swimming pool was a popular place for birthday parties, greeting and wait staff were prompt and friendly in the restaurant. Check in and check out were efficient. I only felt ripped off as I booked my room on expedia therefore not being able to utilize free breakfast coupons. Free breakfast coupons were only given if I had booked through the hotel directly.

Just like home

Pros: The hotel staff went out of their way to make sure all my needs were met! The pool needed some repair but overall my favourite hotel in Brandon! Also
Cons: The pool needs a new lining installed and pool side room are too hot. Better air conditioning is required in the original part of the hotel.Iris
Location: Close to everything you need. My kids like to swim and there is a Tim's in walking distance!
My room is very comfortable nice beds to sleep in and very spacious!

Thank you for the feedback. We are working with the company on the pool liner, as that liner is 3 years old and we are already having issues with it. We have also started the upgrade of our heating and cooling system, which will help alleviate the heat issues in the rooms. Glad to hear we are your favorite hotel in Brandon.

One of Brandon's Best

Visiting family in Brandon, the Royal Oak Inn is one of our first choices. The room was very clean and comfortable. The tub fixtures were showing a small amount of wear (and a drip), but since it was apparent that some rooms on the floor were under renovation, I would assume that this will soon be looked after. The second floor room overlooked the pool, however pool noise wasn't too distracting, and after the pool closed there was no pool noise throughout the night. Overall the room was in great shape, the free WiFi signal was strong, check-in and checkout were quick.
