Nice hotel, clean and friendly staff

Pros: Reasonable rate for all the facilities you get
Location: close to a driving range and golf course.
We only stayed for one night but it was a very good night. The suite was very appropriate for the 3 of us (1 sofa bed). Hotel has all the facilities we needed, underground parking, swimming pool, fitness room, restaurant and the lounge which was open late on Sunday. We will definitely stay here again.

We had a problem finding your hotel because you don't have your name posted at the entrance.

I am sorry that you had trouble finding the place. We just have the Royal Oak Inn on the sign on the front, not on the building itself. Glad you enjoyed the hotel once you found it.

"royal inn and suites"

Nothing royal about it, noisy renovations going on , air conditioner on the fritz. Room very warm. Said they would look into it but didn't get back to me. Room very dark, poor lighting . Screen on window broken. Fridge not cold, didn't fix that either. Hskg left a bottle of spray cleaner in my bathroom. Wouldn't let me upgrade because I booked through Expedia.after so many complaints offered to move me for one night. Not worth it!

Royal Oak decided it was a good idea to hire a deaf housekeeper give her a management key that bypasses your dead bolt and then send her out to check rooms 3/4 hour before check out. Plus these rooms do not have chains. I am not complaining about the housekeeper this is all about management with no brains. We got an apology from the front desk which was nice, but when management does stupid things it should effect their bottom line

Brandon Fair time

The ice machine use was loud until after midnight because our room was close to it. Never book near one again. Pool was good but no chairs left for us on the busy weekend. Kids were shooting their water guns on the stairs to the slide and down the slide which made it harder for young and very old people. Room was good but needed better reading lights. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thanks

The staff was great, but went from asking for early check in, to waiting and hour and a half in the lobby to get in our rooms finally at 4:30. The line up to check in was ridiculous, but the 2 staff members working trying to get everyone in worked very well under pressure and kept their composure.
