Stayed here whilst working in Bradford. Very reasonably priced, staff were fantastic and its in a perfect city centre location near the station.
I had a minor problem with my room and they imeadiately moved me, nothing was too much trouble.
Wish I worked in Bradford more often so I ccould kid stay again.
Traveller from london
Historic Victorian building. Walking distance to theatres, cinemas, musuems, shops and fine cuisine. City rich in …More
Friendly staff that allowed us to check in early (1 hour before set time) and although the adjacent parking lot was quite full were able to get 15% discount being a hotel guest. The central location of the hotel (adjacent to both the Bradford City Hall, new shopping center and train station) made up for the rather tired looking room (ours did not even have a room number on it) but I understand that they are currently undergoing substantial renovations.
Arrived much later than planned and the staff could not have been more gracious, and very willing to help with parking and bringing in my bags in terrible weather conditions.
Apartment was perfect and I really enjoyed my stay there.
Food was plentiful and unexpected. The place incredibly (and wonderfully) quiet.
Thanks Naz and Mohammed for your kindness.
"Could be a great B and B if owners put in the work"
Stayed here as we were going to a family wedding and thought we'd try somewhere a little different to premier inn, we arrived at 12.45 hoping to get into our room as wanting to get ready for the wedding. I was greeted by a lady who's English was not great who said that we could not check in until 1pm. I tried to explain that we had a wedding to go to and it would be great if I could do the paperwork and pay now to save a little time. She went to ask her boss. The time was about ten to one now. She came back and said no. Check in at 1pm. Not a great start. When we did finally get checked in we had a long walk to our room carrying our bags and clothes on coat hangers so not to crease them. stress levels were rising at this stage. I don't want to be too negative as once we had got over the initial stress the room that we had was nice. It was clean and had lots of character with tradional beams in the ceiling. The bed was very comfy with a good TV. Slight letdown was no curtain or blind in the bathroom window overlooking the farm shop. I feel that the owners may have lost a little interest in the place and its such a shame as it is so close to being a great place to stay. Breakfast was lovely. Overall it was worth the money paid
It is just basically student accommodation as it states outside the building, nothing special. The cleanliness wasn't up to standard as there were dirty stains on the sofa and the view from the window was also nothing special just overlooking overgrown bushes and grass.
Home to half a million people, Bradford used to be part of the heart of Britain's heavy industry. Nowadays, it is an emerging tourist destination and home to the National Media Museum, Cartwright Hall, and Saltaire. The latter, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a Victorian era model village and a so-called anchor point of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
