Worst hotel experience ever!
Firstly had the room cancelled because of a leak. So spent my day trying to sort out with Hotels.com to be told the room is sorted. Got to the apartments there was no one at the desk. Called a number on the desk they said walk into the room and the key is on the table. Asked me to send a photo of my drivers licence as proof of identity. When we got into the room the first thing which we noticed was the smell (damp smell). The bed was on the floor frame was broken. I went to the bathroom but the door handle was broken we had no privacy. There was only one towel between the two of us which I was repulsed by (who would want to use a towel if someone else used it even if its your other half!). The cabinet handles were broken, the stove top was rusted over, kitchen utensils were so stained and old if I carried out swab testing i’m sure I would have come back with all 99.9% of bacteria/viruses disinfectant claims it kills. Remove the blanket off the sofa and you’ll find a stained excuse of a sofa which I think they picked up from the side of the road. No batteries for the remote to Tv and a closet with no hangers. I noticed I did not see an iron. I called the concierge service and was told I’d receive one in 15 mins. 40 mins had gone by with no sign of an iron. Called again was told to go into the next room and I’ll find one, I didn’t find one on my wild goose chase. So my husband called and told him that this is ridiculous, the guy literally hung up on him!
