Boyne Mountain is great place with lots to do. Vacasa, the management company the owner chose is lousy. Numerous calls to the management company requesting help gaining access, controlling the temp and other amenities with several promises to send someone out to help never happened. I will absolutely use VRBO again and I will stay at Boyne as well but I will not ever book a property again that is managed by Vacasa. ##### Michael B. We had the most unsafe and terrible experience at this rental. ALL of the smoke detectors were off the wall, there was not a lock on our door to the upper unit and worried that our items were not safe, there were piles of items in the hallways and packed on the bed, I injured my toe on an item left in the hallway, and there was at least 10 bottles of alcohol left out as well as bleach (accessible to children). There were 2 closet doors not secured to walk and hanging off closet, I would like an entire refund and all of these things taken care of for the next tenant. This is very dangerous and could be a lawsuit in the future. Please let me know how you want to handle this moving forward.
