Hotel room was below standard and did not reflect what was on the advert. We had been given an outdated room with twin bed of which one was a disable bed and the mattress was very uncomfortable. Woke up the next day with a bad back. When we arrived at the hotel we found the room below standard spoke to reception. They were unable to accommodate us to a different one because claimed they were fully booked. We then decided to ring hotel.com
Advisor got in touch with hotel and the latter was willing to give full refund which i found was really helpful. However because i did not want extra stress having to find another hotel, my sister and i decided to stay and requested for a different room the following night . Eventually got another room next night
Initially when booking with hotel.com, the telephone agent had reassured that should there be any issues , i can call and they will try level best to help. On the day of checking in when i rang a telephone advisor, she communicated with the hotel. But was not able to find a better hotel for my budget so therefore we stayed .The breakfast at the hotel was really poor. No fresh fruits available. I would not want to habe breakfast there again.
No mentioned of guests car park while booking. When arriving at hotel they told us that we should have booked in advance.Therefore the first day was a big of struggle finding parking
However on our 2nd night Alex managed to get us a space at the hotel lots.
