We had a very negative experience when staying at this hotel, including a potential health and safety issue which the hotel refused to deal with, general incompetence and very slow/ lack of service. Due to the character limit I am unable to share all my points but am including a couple:
Water leak:
We noticed a potential health & safety issue in our bathroom - there was water dripping from one of the lightbulbs. The lightbulb was right above the toilet which made the toilet seat wet and created a mess. We also noticed the ceiling in the bathroom was very moist and cracks started to form. Since we didn’t know whether this was condensation or if there was a water leak very close to the electric circuit, we reported this as a potential health & safety problem. We were told someone was going to check on it. However, we were never updated about this matter. We enquired about it on our last day during checkout and were advised someone had come to check (it must have been when we were out since we hadn't seen anyone) and that they had prepared a new room for us to move in to. The receptionist said someone should have informed us about this - however, no one had.
Cleaning:
Throughout our whole stay, we never received housekeeping, even though daily housekeeping was daily housekeeping was advertised when we had booked it.
Missing room items:
There were several very basic items missing in our room which should have been present (TV remote control, hair dryer, toilet brush etc.).
