It’s a nice old place, it does not matches the picture in the website. The restaurant food is great and the costumer service outstanding. The price was more than the one I was quoted when I made the reservations. Too expensive for the value of the rooms. The place is under remodeling

I stayed with my family this past weekend and was very pleasantly surprised. The facilities were very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. My only "negative" is that the restaurant was a bit overpriced for the offerings. I was told (and saw) that the restaurant will be getting remodeled soon as it does need some updating. I look forward to hopefully visiting again.

Room was excellent!! I was disappointed with the check in process since the check in desk is the same for lot buyers who are making payments and/or servicing their contracts. I had to wait long time before I was attended by someone. Other than that everting was great and our stay was very pleasant

The property is nice. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice. The room can use some upgrades. The furniture, the walls, design were worn out and a bit beat up. Other than the room itself, the place was nice.

Beautiful stay, location and staff were great. The problem was that I did not get the room I paid for. When I booked I requested a room with vineyard view, and agreed o pay the additional room fee. Ion check in I was told that there were no rooms with such views. I want to be charged for a regular room. And that option should be removed as it is deceiving to your clients.

Rancho Tecate offers peace and relaxation. The surroundings are gorgeous and I enjoyed my strolls around the property. There are vineyards, mountains, palm trees and a lake. So beautiful! The pool doesn’t close and there are comfortable cabanas. Just wish the pool was heated at night. The staff is very friendly.

We stayed at Rancho Tecate, as a family friend had their wedding on the grounds. We decided to make it a weekend get-a-way, and stay over night. Although the room itself was fairly nice, it definitely did not warrant the price-tag it came with. We seemed to be the only one staying on the premesis, which made it nice and quite, but almost too quite. We're hoping it was because it was off season. Upon arriving to the building where our room was located, the windows of most of the rooms either had sheets hung up to serve as curtains or old 1970s draperies with white crumpled vinyl backing; making it feel like something straight out of the movie Psycho. No chance of getting killed in the shower though, as there was no hot water to take a shower. Without a hot shower, I decided on a hot cup of coffee to wake up. Unfortunately, the coffee maker was broken. The "free WiFi" was spotty, and we were not able to stay consistently connected in our room. The only saving grace of this resort is the food at the restaurant on the grounds. Everything else was sub-par and creepy. I would not recommend staying here.

Rancho tecate is a nice place. A bit expensive for the quality of rooms and service. Rooms are spacious and clean comfortable beds. But walls are way to thin. I got stuck with rowdy neighbors heard them all night and early morning definitely didn't get a restful night. Besides that hot water wasn't functioning, called front desk was told they would send someone right away and no one came. Went to front desk to let them know my stay wasn't a 4.5 star service. I would say it was 2 star over their nonchalant attitude.
