Pretty standard Holiday Inn like anywhere else. Nice, clean and big rooms. Breakfast was good.the only thing staff are not very friendly in the dining room. The location is ok if i only visited Chateua de Versailles. It was not far of a diatance when I look at the location when I booked it, I didn't realize the heavy traffic when we drove back and forth to Eiffel tower.

I received wrong type of the room, should be double bed i received the single room, i ckmplained staff ignore it and reply qe do not have other room only much smaller. Bathroom terrible condition, dirty with mould and fungus all over ( i took the picture of it as i was planned to complain to main hokiday inn) i complained but again staff ignore, i booked as Holiday inn keep standard but definitaley not in this case. Positive only parking.

Nice and Clean hotel with safe parking garage. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. Self making pancake machine was pretty awesome. Good selection and hot and cold items as well as drinks. Multiple lifts made it easy to get to your room fast. Would stay here again as long as I have a car. Not much within walking distance.

I paid €249 for 1 night and clearly wasn't worth it. Room in need of a serious renovation, dirty carpet, dirty walls, 2 spiders in the corners!! Not sound proof at all! Very noisy. The bed was very unconfortable. I ordered room service, suppl. is 8€ for the service. Ridiculous. And the soup was cold! Wifi is payable as well after 3 hrs. Who charges wifi nowdays? The only positive for me was the very polite and kind staff, very professional. I will not stay again that’s for sure.

The service in the hotel restaurant was very poor during all of my four night stay. The first night I waited over an hour for my started, which was only soup - the restaurant was not busy. When the soup finally arrived it was only just warm. Other nights I waited 10mins+ to be served a drink at the bar - my friend asked for tea, after 15mins. it still did not arrive, when we asked, the waiter said he'd forgot! One meal everyone was served bread, we were missed out and only received bread when I asked for it. I ordered steak with vegetables, it arrived with fries. I know longer had the will to challenge this mistake! Very poor experience of the restaurant.

Perfect for work
I stay at the Holiday Inn Bougival once a month when visiting the French HQ for work. Good hotel with good service. I had a few issues with some rooms in the past but they are now allocated me the same room every time I come so I can feel at home a bit. Good breakfast and room service to make you start the Day and help you finish work in the evening.

The hotel is fine and comfortable but far away from anything in Paris or train station. I would stay downtown next. Room was pretty good and comfortable. Hallway on 3rd floor could use some updating. Staff was very nice

Home for me once a month
I stayed at the Holiday inn for 2 nights. On the first night, there was a leak in the bathroom. All the carpet was wet and it started to smell a bit. But the staff was great and put me in a brand new bedroom the next day - one of the new ones. Breakfast is good amd plenty to choose from. Food for dinner is good quality too and they offer room service. Really convenient for me as I travel on my own and don't like going down to the restaurant to have dinner for 1. Location isn't the best for tourists but for business is great. Only 5 mins to the office. Really convenient too as I have to visit once a month.

Reception and restaurant staff were great - friendly and very helpful. Unfortunately when we asked if the drinks on tap were lager or beer, we were asked "what's the difference?" in a really condescending way - we didn't drink in the bar again. Breakfasts were tasty but the dinner was limited in choice and only average - we only ate there once. Beds were very comfortable and rooms very dark and quiet.

We were en route so it was a stop off. Not much to do in the hotel but take a walk into Bougival and there are some nice places to eat. Breakfast included was ok, spoilt but part of a large Japenese tour party who were particularly rude to the staff.

Don't expect to get to Versailles very easily!
This is a nice hotel in a charming little town outside of Paris. The facilities are clean, and there is a nice (if a bit costly) restaurant in the hotel. The shower/bath is excellent, and the staff are friendly and speak English well. However, two things detract a bit from the experience. The first is minor. Breakfast is 18 euros per person, with no offering for a light breakfast. We had to walk into town. There was a great bakery though, as long as you speak at least a little French. The bigger issue is that the hotel does NOT offer a shuttle to Versailles. You can take a cab (40-50 euros...one way!) or a series of buses. A hotel that has Versailles in the name should have an easier way to visit the chateau. We actually got lost trying to get there and ended up taking the RER instead of a bus that would have been easier. We took a cab back (50 euros, due to traffic!). Getting to CDG was pretty easy, though. ORLY is NOT easy, however. ORLY to the hotel is probably an hour and a half! Hotel to CDG was probably 45 minutes. Again, though, the hotel itself is very nice. It's just not the best option if your goal is to visit the palace!
