No staff both in afternoon and in the evening, doors in front of hotel unlocked, and restaurant not opened and no one there even when hours posted otherwise. "We are only staying one night on our way back home and I selected this location based on proximity to the airport. Which it is very close to the airport. However, the accommodations are really nice. We are in a bungalow which is set up very nicely and super fun for kids. It is super clean and has a kitchenette. The grounds are stunning and have many seating options scattered about to enjoy the greenery. There are also donkeys and sheep and chickens. It’s amazing to be so close to the airport and to Venice and feel like you’re in the middle of nature. "
"This is the perfect hotel for exploring Venice. Their shuttle provided round trip transportation to and from the airport, and the train station was located directly behind the hotel, making for an easy trip to the island. The hotel could use an update, but the convenience and service makeup for it. Everyone at the hotel was helpful giving recommendations, including the pizza takeout across the street that was a delicious & inexpensive dinner. We saw many people struggling with luggage on the island, and we repeatedly said thank goodness we didn’t stay there. We loved our stay & highly recommended this location."
"The hotel is brand new and quite nice but its an oasis in an otherwise disagreeable area. It is however, a few blocks off old town Zadar, so that’s highly convenient. Hopefully the city’s authorities get to improve the area surrounding the hotel. All said, the area seems as safe as in any other city in Croatia. "
