    The Lions Den is a 4800 square foot gorgeous new home located in Scituate, MA – close to both Boston and Cape Cod. It features incredible views of the ocean with 6 decks and a widow's walk. Bring the whole family, cousins and in-laws. 20+ persons, designed for informal beachy comfort, fun and relaxation. All modern appliances, gas cooking, pantry/bar, wine cooler, refrigerated beer keg dispenser, all tile heated floor baths and other over the top amenities. In total: 4 levels, 3 living rooms, 2 dining areas (service for 30), fully equipped kitchen with separate prep area, 2 laundry, 2 saunas, 2 hot tubs, whirlpool and steam, additional sleeper couches, seasonal décor, Offstreet parking. Babies and kids: crib, playpens, car seat, stroller, games and books are all available upon request. Rainy day activities: 12 Smart Televisions surround sound, DVD player, PlayStation4, WII, hardscape courtyard patio with bar, grille, firepit, hot tub, fountain led landscape lights and dog run. Widows walk with panoramic views and 8 persons hot tub. State of the art technology is available including a computer, printer, broadband & wifi, cell phone booster, 4K Ultra HD television and HD smart TV’s in all bedrooms and suites. Beach & deck furniture are included as well as bath and beach towels. Handicap accessible stair lift to the first floor. All bedrooms are carpeted and ceilings/floors have sound insulation. Windows have shade blinds with curtains. Closets have louvered doors and jewelry/money safes. All rooms have ocean views and shared decks. 2 King and 8 queen luxury firm beds with high count linens, extra pillows. Push button keyless security entry doors. Steel reinforced wood frame construction, with fiber cement siding, PVC decks and trim, stainless steel rails and hardware- 50 year durable green materials. All rooms have dimmable led lighting, energy saving appliances and high efficiency Heating air conditioning and hot water. All house water is filtered. Whole house gas generator insures no loss of power. On site management next door at 94 Marion Rd by your hosts Fred Boyajian and wife Bobbie Staley. Rental includes kitchen, bath and laundry soaps, paper supplies and normal spice condiments. 200’ to beach and walking distance to general store, lighthouse, harbor and village. Located (45min) 17miles from Logan Airport. The T train is minutes away for easy access to Boston. Cape Cod and Plymouth Rock is 30 miles away.       Wonderful Holiday Getaway

      We booked this property to accommodate our entire family for the week of Thanksgiving. Since it was off-season we did not get to enjoy all the benefits of the water front property but it was still breathtaking. There was plenty of space for dining, sleeping and entertaining. The house was very well kept and Fred, Jeff and Mike were helpful. Thank you for your hospitality and we hope to visit again in the future, Liz Amaral


        Host was amazing, most amenities did not work :(

        The house and Fred were very nice. We were approached by a random lady from a street over at 630pm our first night yelling at us about how this was a working neighborhood, which we were a bit shocked as we had just arrived and never caused any issues at all during our stay. My guess is other guest in the past were not respectful of outdoor spaces. That being said we made sure to stay indoors and were respectful to the neighbors. The issues we had with the house was that the amenities listed were not working. We told Fred the first night the roof top got tub didnt work. A maintenance guy came to look at it the next day but said it was over his head and never returned. In addition to the hot tub on the roof top not working the hot tub on the floor level was not treated with any chemicals, which is dangerous. Also, the steam shower on the second floor didnt work and the sauna I'm the in law suite didnt work. So unfortunately we paid for all these up scale aminidies and they didnt work. This trip was for our bridal party members and my husband and I we paid a ton of money for 3 night and it was a bit disappointing to say the least...

          Beautiful - but difficult!

          The Lion's Den is a beautiful home. Fred was kind enough to tour the place with me well before our stay. When we arrived, however, the locks were not changed over for us (we had to call for help to be let in) and the house looked unprepared for guests. Some of the appliances were non-functional. It was difficult to contact the ColbyCo for help with the facilities. I had family, including grandparents, staying there for our wedding weekend and I would say overall they had a wonderful time. However, we were not given back our full deposit and I truly believe that we were respectful guests. To summarize, the house and location are beautiful and worth the stay - but make sure you do a thorough walkthrough and report anything amiss right away!

            Perfect for Large Group Gatherings!

            We stayed here for a wedding with 13 people, and it was PERFECT. Fred was super accommodating and gave us a tour of the home and all its features upon arrival. Bedroom and Bathrooms are all great. Beds super comfy. Great location from water also an easy 15 minute walk into downtown. Ample parking for at least 8-9 cars which was perfect for our group. Home had all of the amenities you'd want in a vacation rental!

              Great property, beautiful home.

              We had a wonderful time. This house is perfect for a family of 15. Lots of space to spend time together, and lots of space for when you need to get away. Great backyard for games ,for kids to run around, nice quiet area bike riding and walks. Great area for morning runs. Conveniently located, easy shopping at the village market and fish markets. Fred was very easy to talk to and was quick to respond to any questions we had. Will definitely stay here again!
