Upgrade or feel the noise
We had the run of the mill room so we were put in what they call the “cozy queen.” It’s definitely small. The beds are comfy but the showers are only about 2.5 feet wide. We could of been fine with the smallness if it weren’t for the noise on our first night. After the noise incident, everything just seemed worse. We were put on the 5th floor which is apparently near the mezzanine where events are held. On our first night, we got back before 10pm and could hear loud music and could feel the vibrations in our room. At 10:30, I called the front desk to see how long the event would be going til. I was told until 11:30PM and they would be out of the room by 12. The live band didn’t end until 12:06. Also, the poor couple next door wasn’t able to get their child to go to sleep until about then either. If you’re expecting to stay in a hotel and get a goodnight of sleep, don’t plan on here unless you upgrade. If you plan on being out past then, it’s not a problem. If you have things planned for the next day and want to get a good night of sleep, ask if there are events the nights you’re staying and if you can hear/feel it from your room. Also, guest services chose to remedy the situation by offering vouchers for breakfast even though we said we had brunch plans. They were to be slipped under the door in the night, but we never received even them. A disappointing stay to say the least.
