The beautifully presented open plan studio offers all the modern amenities; underfloor heating, dishwasher, washer/dryer, WiFi and smart TV. You will find a private bathroom with shower, WC and basin. Cook up a feast of an evening with fully fitted kitchen, microwave, fridge/freezer and cosy dining for two in front of the fire! There is a private seating area outside, where you can watch the local wildlife and take in the tranquillity of the landscape. Enjoy a taste of the local region with some homemade scones, jam and clotted cream on arrival. Just remember… jam first always in Cornwall! Skylarks is a fabulous base to explore this region of the county, with wonderful walks along sections of the coast path and traditional villages to visit with a selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants. The peaceful setting. The hosts friendly manner. The log burner and we could help ourselves to the wood we needed. Consistently hot water. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely welcome cream tea. Great bed, nice mattress. A small table and chairs outside would’ve been great. The small area where there was a bench was a bit overgrown. The kitchen rug was a trip hazard. Shaving light in the bathroom didn’t work. The absence of a coat hooks in the hallway. No where to dry bath towels. Bathroom was always damp after showering, unless we left the front door and bathroom doors open.
