We had to ask for the side table to be wiped at checkin. The king bed was two twin mattresses put together on a queen size frame so the one mattress was hanging over about a foot with no support. We booked at this hotel knowing the sister hotel had the pool, we didn’t know that you have to rent towels at the pool. The breakfast was also across the street at the sister hotel which we didn’t know. There was no ice at the hotel bar so once again we had to go to the sister hotel. I wouldn’t have booked at this hotel if I knew that I would be spending my time walking over to the other hotel for my stay.

Disappointing and Incorrectly described
This is a satellite hote to a large conference hotel where alll the main facilities are 5 mins walk away. This does not sound far however you have to walk there for everything drinks food pool etc. very disappointing!

We liked our stay here. Was a cute place just on the outskirts of Bologna. Room was nice and clean. Restaurant close by was good. Overall service was good. We liked our stay here.

Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel , use of sister hotel fabulous , great restaurant at reasonable prices Only slight complaint , not much storage space in the room , no drawers at all . Apart from that , it was and is excellent ! Great breakfast ! & only 15 minute bus ride into city centre .

Excellent stay
Excellent hotel with access to all facilities at the main hotel a few hundred yards down the road. Staff very friendly and helpful, room and service excellent and very comprehensive choice for breakfast. Easy bus access on road outside hotel in to centre of bologna.

The staff here is amazing. They helped us out with a situation we had with our car rental that was above and beyond what I have ever seen at a hotel before. Their help is something I will always be grateful for

Nice hotel - wonderful receptionist
This was a very nice hotel on the edge of Bologna. The room was fine and the breakfast was excellent and well above average. The outstanding memory of our visit, however, was the night receptionist, Mattia Manca who was extremely helpful. We really appreciated his help and courtesy.

small dark rooms that smell of cigarette smoke
Avoid. This is a conference hotel that provided small, dark and dingy rooms for delegates that are allowed to smoke in their rooms. Bathrooms are small and dark. Breakfast Room, lounges, Restaurants are over taken over by conference delegates. In fact they even close restaurants and bar areas to accommodate the delegates. Very poor value for money.

Front desk staff was not very friendly when we first arrived. Restaurant for dinner at the hotel was great...best meal we had in Italy! Bed is pretty hard and to get the AC to work in the room, you have to call the front desk to turn on for you. Very pretty property though & easy parking.

There's Nothing wrong with this hotel but it doesn't have the style and experience of the main hotel - somehow feel a bit detached. We stayed here as part of our 5 star tour around Italy so it is a little unfair comparing it to other hotels we have stayed in. It is incredible value for money and very comfortable. If you can afford the extra stay in the main hotel.

Beautiful oasis close to everything
A little garden of Eden near everything and less than 10 min drive from Bologna center and train station. White building is very noisy because of noise from street but the red stucco and stones building is super quiet. Breakfast amazing (salty and sweet things; lots of gluten free choices). Very good beds. Nice size rooms. Romantic but beautiful also if you have kids because they can run everywhere. I will come back here every time I am in Bologna.

Nice hotel - fantastic food
In most respects this hotel lived up to expectations. It is conveniently located on the side of the ring road and although it is too far to walk to the city centre, buses leave regularly from a stop immediately outside the hotel. As others have commented it seems to be the poorer cousin of the main Savoia hotel with which it is co-located. But it gains from additional privacy, a discrete garden and ample secure car parking. It is also very good value. The jewel in the crown is the main hotel restaurant which, as others have commented, is superb. It's not too pricey and I noticed that it appeared at no 16 in Bologna's list of their 25 top restaurants and was the only one classified at moderate price rather than expensive. The staff were attentive and helpful, the breakfasts excellent. Unfortunately I have two negative points. The ground floor room we were put into initially was dingy and none too clean. On request we were promptly shifted to a fully acceptable 2nd floor room, so just a minor blip, but.. Also the a/c had been switched off for the winter and although the staff endeavoured to get it switched back on, they didn't. Even with open windows the temperatures at night were a humid 29/30 degrees so very uncomfortable - pity.

Very comfortable but can be noisy at night
Was a wonderful stay. The room was big and so was the bathroom. The food especially the cheese is pig and not suitable for Muslims. Arrangement is such that you can find the Qibla straight in one angle. Good parking and you have good place to pray. Alhamdullilah that my family enjoyed.

We would definitely stay again.
Good up market hotel and good value given the price we got at Hotels.com. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were a bit soft. I carry my own so that's OK. The room was very small and we found we were falling over each other trying to get by. The road outside was noisy...I would ask for a room on the opposite side next time. The whole hotel including our room was well decorated. Parking was easy. Breakfast was OK. I liked the Italian coffee. We would definitely stay again if we got the same deal.

Ideal for exhibitions
We stayed here during the week of the Cersaie exhibition and found the hotel very comfortable. The location was very handy with a direct bus stopping just outside the hotel every 12 minutes for the show site. Our room was large and with two single beds pushed together still very comfortable. It had a more dated/traditional style of décor than a lot of the exhibition area hotels which can be more modern and stark. The restaurant Garagnelli at the sister property across the road was very good, if a little expensive. Breakfast was the usual continental meats, cheese, pastries and cereal - more than adequate for our needs.

Average hotel but for the price it was fine
Room a little small. In White House on corner,very noisy if you want your window open. We were fine but AC did not go very low and in hot weather could be a problem. Breakfast was good and has a unique machine to produce fresh orange juice? I would recommend it to a friend who was watching his budget

Nice hotel - great restaurant, Garganelli's
Hotel was just outside city so you"ll need a car or take bus but bus stop convenient. Stay at the hotel just for the restaurant, Garganelli. During our whole trip through Tuscany this was by far the best food, really. We couldn't believe it we went there just cause we were too tired to go anywhere else and were quite surprised. Garganelli's is just off the parking lot, a nice upscale restaurant with amazing food, good prices. You won't be sorry!!!

Country house style with green surroundings!
We stayed for one night crossing Italy to take the boat from Ancona. What we really liked was the country style of he buildings and the super green surroundings!I think it's really a good value for money deal|! Personally I really liked the breakfast, my husband would prefer a bigger variety in the savoury choices. The room and the bathroom were very clean. Definitely, I would pass my night there on my next boat stop over.

nice hotel close to the highway and bologna
we were looking for a decent hotel with a little charm ,reasonably priced and close to bologna for one night. this hotel fit all of those things. eventhough it is on a very busy road they have managed to create a barrier with vegetation. the reception area, restuarant and garden are very nice. our room located in a separate building was clean and modern. the buffet breakfast in the morning was presented nicely. we did not however think much of bologna and would not go out of our way in the future to return .

Close to Bologna
The hotel has a sister hotel just over the road. This one is set around trees and shrubs etc. Its nice but feels strange and a little bit like a poor relation to the other one. You can use the pool across the way but have to pay 2 euros each for the towels or take your own however it is lovely. We booked a deluxe room, nice but a bit noisy we asked for another room and were shown a standard one, which has lovely so probably didn't need to upgrade. We ate at the restaurant by the car park which is not part of the hotel as again the restaurant is at the sister hotel. Actually we had a lovely meal in a great atmosphere and lots of add ons in between courses which were complimentary so good decision. Stayed here for one night as part of a trip around the area. Didn't like Bologna but chose the hotel as wasn't too far from the Lamborghini Museum in Modena.

We were so surprised at the high standard of this hotel for such a reasonable price. It has a beautiful setting. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The rooms are well decorated and modern. The standards of cleanliness are very high. The food and service at the Garganelli restaurant are second to none. Had a fabulous stay there.
