Very friendly staff, great location, and beautiful rooms. Essentially within a 15 min walk of just about everywhere you’d want to experience in Historic Bologna. Would highly recommend this hotel!

Fantastic stay, we upgraded to the suite as it was our first stop arriving from the US. The front desk staff were amazing and gave us great dinner recommendations, the suites are perfect if u want a bit of space, bathroom was all red granite which was fantastic and unique. The water way hot (yay) and there were a couple of snacks set out for our arrival. It’s a fantastic location just off of the main square in the old part of the city. We will be back!

Great location
Great location. Our Gallery room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. We thought from the website that there was a rooftop deck at this hotel, which is one of the reasons we booked it. However it turns out it was at a nearby sister hotel, and closed in any event.

We drove from Montespertoli to Bologna. The hotel reception person (Erica) went above and beyond to help us with navigating with the car and parking as there are many restrictions for driving in Bologna. She was excellent! Grazie Mille, Erica!

Classy property that is well maintained and styled in classic Italian furnishings but with modern features. Very friendly and helpful staff. However it’s very important to understand that if arrive by car that needs parking this must be arranged prior to your visit as the parking stated as available is limited, and once filled public parking is required. The hotel stamped a ticket that cost and allowed use of public parking which was hard to find and not near hotel. Also, some parts of city do not allow closed non-resident vehicles.

The location of this hotel is right on the Piazza Maggiore, and in walking distance to dozens of great restaurants, quality retails shops, and all sorts of sites. The breakfast buffet every morning is a wonderful way to start the day.

Amazing location, smack bang in the centre of the city next to the square. Couldn’t have been a better location. Staff were extremely helpful and nice. They even organised a booking at a recommended local restaurant (which when we turned up didn’t actually seem to be in their books) but we just had to wait a bit and we got a table anyway. Parking was good, I think we used their sister hotels parking facility around the corner which was secure. Only problem is if you left something in your car, might be a bit tricky to quickly nip out and get it later. Bologna is stunning and old city which means navigating to the hotel can be a challenge but we did our research and preplanned the route they had suggested and managed to get straight there. Lovely clean rooms and bathrooms. Would recommend this little gem of a hotel to anyone that wants a authentic Bologna stay.

Beautiful hotel in perfect location
The location of this hotel could not be better! You fall out the front door into the middle of the action. Our room was exactly as advertised, very clean, and the pictures were very accurate. We were in the Deluxe Suite (Sulla Via della Seta), which was perfect for myself, my husband, and our daughter. She had a little privacy in her own room and her own bathroom! Service was top notch. Breakfast was enough to get us started on our day. When I return to Bologna, this will be the hotel I use!

The location of the property cannot be beat - adjacent to the main square of Bologna. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and eager to help throughout. My room was comfortable and well-appointed. AC worked well and shower was spacious. The hotel provides a complementary reusable shopping bag with zipper closure, which is a nice amenity. I definitely would stay at the property again!
