My daughter and I had a very early flight out of Faro and wanted a nice, safe hotel close to the airport. Hotel Monaco had a very friendly staff, clean rooms, and was less than 5 minutes from the Faro airport. I felt it was an excellent choice and would recommend to others looking for something similar.

The price is great solely for the position of the hotel, it allows you to travel to the beach or the centre of town with great ease, although the busses are not so frequent, they do provide a timetable, although this may not always be on time all the time. Definitely a trip to enjoy with someone else otherwise the stay can have times where there’s not a lot to do, on a whole, Breakfast might be the best part and that’s saying a lot.
