My son and my love went to the Riverside. I decided not to rent them a car as most of what they were doing was pretty close by. The drivers didnt have to go the extra distance and they did. The hotel staff also recieves extra thumbs up as they were kind, complimentory, and went above to make their stay extra special. Im forever grateful!

Nice main lobby and restaurant. Friendlyish staff. Long long corridors and not suitable in poor weather. Beds uncomfortable and thin sheets. Could not cover past shoulders. Cocktails in bar overpriced and limited selections. Might be better in summer months.

We were given keys to a room that already had a customer in the room. Nothing like walking in a room and having people look at you. The hotel could use more signs showing how to get to the lobby from the back of the hotel. It's a giant maze.

Overall a great stay. Rooms didn’t feel super clean. I think renovations to rooms would help. Staff was extremely friendly. We chose this hotel for the pools and hot tubs. Which did not disappoint. The kids loved it and so did we. There are breweries nearby which allowed children. They are within walking distance but it was more exciting to ride the Lime scooters which was a bonus for us. The EV charging was great. Lots of plugs available. Had to ask front desk to activate the charger with their fob card to charge.

We stayed here for our wedding night. We checked in fairly late and were completely exhausted, but the front desk staff was incredible and even gave us warm chocolate chip cookies to take to our room. However, the alarm went off at 6am in the room. We didn't think to check it. Also, housekeeping was knocking persistently at our door at 9am to begin cleaning rooms and checkout wasn't until 11:00. It also happened to be the night that clocks 'spring forward' an hour, so all of this felt like an hour earlier. It was a frustrating morning for the day after our wedding.

Lovely updated room. Indoor and outdoor pool. Easy parking. Great buffet breakfast. Lots to do for adult visitors. We chose this hotel because it was close to downtown and right on the Greenbelt walking trail. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at the Riverside. The staff is so friendly and there are many options for eating in and around the facilities. They have two pools, one inside and the other outside. They offer a shuttle service to take you to downtown Boise which was very convenient. Rooms were large and well equipped and clean. Complimentary Buffet breakfast in the morning.

I always like staying at the riverside. Was a little thrown off when they charged me for wanting an extra blanket on the bed cause I was cold. Should be included when you’re already paying a good amount to stay at the hotel. Thought it was a little tacky.

Horrible Service if you Decide to eat food
Unfortunately I was here for a stay cation with my daughter on her 11th birthday. Upon arrival the staff were super friendly, checked us in early and even gave me a drink coupon and free desert. Her and I swam in the indoor pool and then made our way out to the outdoor pool. The outdoor area so dirty, there were empty cups all over, we finished swimming and went back to our room. I tried calling for room service multiple times with no answer, tried calling the front desk again not a single answer. The next morning my daughter and her friend who also was staying went to the breakfast buffet while the adults packed and loaded the car. While at breakfast the waitress was extreamly rude, when she asked where the milk was she was told "its right in front of your face", they weren't checked up on, they weren't offered any drinks, the bill was brought instantly to her and she was shuffling stuff around the table for the bill and ended up touching her food, the server tried to take her plate of food while she was still eating and when she said wait i'm still working the server rolled her eyes and walked away. My daughter called me while eating upset and in tears by how she was getting treated. By the time I was finished packing up my car and starting to head over to the buffet she came back to our room asking to just leave. Great start, horrible ending.
