I stayed in this hotel for 5 days. An excellent experience. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is just about new and everything works and they have the management down pat. You will not find a better breakfast offered to you anywhere in Columbia, all you can eat, a huge variety. The bed was home quality, air conditioning was spot on. A $2 taxi ride takes you to the old city, or you can walk in about a half hour. Entry to your room/floor is private and uses a key card to get you to your floor, the reception is on a higher floor, so you never have to walk through a bustling lobby to get to and from your room. An excellent experience I highly recommend!

"Great, clean hotel 7 minutes away from Old City."
Nice, clean hotel, but I would have stayed in the Old City because that is where you end up spending most of the time. That would eliminate the need to get a 5-7 minute cab ride to and from the hotel. Although the cabs are very cheap and easy to get. And Old City is closer to the airport. There is a mini-zoo at the hotel. Like a garden area. And there a few large birds in the garden. Great to look at, but they are very loud starting around 6:00AM and will wake you up.
