Ensuite modern & clean. Facilities less than motels, but at price charged, represents good value and is entirely comfortable. Dining and bar downstairs is a plus.

No air con in room on a very hot day. No fridge in room. Would have liked to have a prior warning days before that there was going to be loud music until midnight so we would have looked for accommodation elsewhere

Clean and bright room
Recommended for stay close to the train station. Clean bed, hot shower. Has electric blanket and fan, but not air conditioning in the room.

Looking for budget accomodation this is ideal lovely and clean with friendly staff . If Traffic noise bothers you ask for a room at the back. Good value for money 👍

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay & the history of the building. The bed was warm & comfy. Only gripe is the wifi connection to the tele that my tween was looking forward to having after 2 weeks on the road in remote spots sleeping in the car.

Great value for what you pay. Room was clean and as described but a bit small for 3 people. Room was above the bar, where a band played until 11pm - vibrating through the room.

staff friendly, helpful, but not enough pillows on bed, had to find staff to round up extra pillows, staff were helpful, toilet roll almost empty. had to going looking for another roll in hallway toilet., no spare roll in our room....it seems that our room was double booked. this caused confusion. For a while but was sorted, staff was helpful..It seems that Expedia could get their act together to drive for 4 plus hours the find no room would be not a good day, luckily staff were helpful,

Very handy location right opposite train station, and easily walkable to all the mOn shops and restaurants in Blackheath. A traditional no frills hotel with all you need if you're only planning on sleeping and washing. Very friendly and helpful staff.

No heater and it is so cold at the night. The blanket heater wasn't working because of power plug didn't work. The shower is less hot water. I wouldn't come back again.

To be told after check in that the power was going off at 9pm was not great news. Therefore no electric blanket working and there was no other heat source in the room anyway. the shower head was broken and delivered a trickle of water, dreadful. If they knew the power was going off why didn't they tell us beforehand and we would have booked elsewhere. Will not stay again.

yes we have them already on all of the beds, we also have central heating, but unfortunately we cannot give customers access to the controls.

Our room was over the dar area were that music played to 1110pm and we got about 5 hours sleep as we had get up early and run a marathon.

If You Like Noise Overnight
Please don't select a room at this hotel. This hotel is exclusively used by hotel employees after the bar closes at night. They have free reign of the entire hotel and engage in making all kinds of noise and disturbances. They couldn't care at all about paying customers interested in the concept of sleeping or relaxing.
