Lovely time, thanks!
Our stay was lovely, Cath and Lew were great hosts, giving us great recommendations and directions for local attractions. Our room was tidy and quite cozy, the covered walkout porch from the room was delightful in the mornings, and breakfast might have been the highlight of each day, it was delicious

This really is a rare gem! The cottage and grounds were beautiful. I really didn’t want to leave. And what an amazing history! I travel a lot and rarely do I find somewhere as special as this. Thank you

We had a very relaxing overnight stay. Our room was spacious, clean and opened up to a veranda overlooking the manicured grounds. Our host was welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was very nice. Would recommend.

Superb B&B in the Blue Mountains
Superb location and fine accommodation. Lovely breakfast served in the dining room which has excellent views. Lew was extremely helpful recommending great hikes. Really convenient for exploring the Blue Mountains The property has been brilliantly restored and the gardens which surround the property are a pleasure to be in. Would return and recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in Silvermere. The room is clean and comfy. The staff are very friendly and even gave us suggestions what to do around Wentworth Falls. Lastly, we had a great breakfast that exceeded our expectation.

The views were amazing. The breakfast was great and the location was so convenient for local tourist attractions and shopping at Leura and Katoomba. We also visited local art galleries. We definitely will return.

Great breakfast with our stay
Fabulous room and best breakfast we had. The dining room is very beautiful. Stunning view. Although we had a private bathroom but it's 2 rooms away from our room. I didn't really enjoy our stay that much as we need to use the separate toilets in the middle of the night. The room was clean and comfy.

Dear Guest We appreciate your comprehensive review as it provides future guests with important information about Silvermere and the Tomah room. The external bathroom connected to this room is a consequence of converting a heritage listed dwelling to a guesthouse. All our other rooms have ensuite bathrooms but are more expensive.

The service is so good and the place is gorgeous .We enjoy the sunrise viewing from the garden and also the fireplace in the guest lounge. I will come again.,

A Little Gem in the Mountains
What a great place to stay. Lew was very welcoming and we had a a very relaxing and enjoyable time. The breakfasts were magnificent. We also had dinner at Silks on Saturday night. Our table was set up in the guest lounge. It was very private and special. Lew ensured the fire in the guest lounge was always well stoked. A wonderful weekend away!

Peaceful retreat in Wentworth Falls !
Silvermere is a lovely property with a beautiful view of the mountains. Lew was very warm in welcoming us and check in was prompt and simple. The breakfast was generous and the homemade granola scrumptious ! We also really enjoyed the dinner from Silk's Brasserie which operates out of Silvermere.

We had a wonderful 4 day getaway at Silvermere. Our host Peter was fantastic! Our accommodation was clean and super comfortable, and the spa bath was just what the doctor ordered after long days out and about. The heritage house is set amongst lush gardens with views right across to Mt Wilson, just the best spot for the second cup of coffee after breakfast . Silks Brasserie on site was top notch fine dining. We will return.

What I liked was the beauty of the location and of the guest house itself. I also valued the attention to detail in every element of my stay. Here, I refer to the beauty of the garden as well as all the objects in the various spaces, the comfort of the furniture and attitude to ensuring I had a comfortable stay. The breakfasts and the lunch I enjoyed with friends also reflected this attention to detail and I appreciated that owners of Silvermere and Silks were extremely accommodating of dietary issues. The stay felt very covid safe. I hope to return before too long.

It is a beautiful house and gardens, renovated perfectly and well cared for. Bathrooms very generous size and lovely rain shower and spa bath. Breakfast was very good- lovely fresh ingredients, well cooked. Lovely sitting room. Warm and cosy. Beautiful garden with excellent views. Quiet and peaceful. Great place to relax, sleep in, read a book, breakfast include, Silks Brasserie- an excellent restaurant if you want dinner on site. etc. No fancy spas or beauty parlours but that was fine.

I had a perfect experience staying at Silvermere. I was the only guest in the entire guesthoue on the night I stayed, and Cathy let me choose my room, and suggested I might like the one with a spa bath, after my long day for driving. The facilities and amenities were all excellent, the grounds were immaculate, and it couldn't have been quieter. When I advised Cathy that I'd be checking out early, before breakfast, to do some sunrise hiking, she insisted on preparing some food for me to take with me, and in the morning there was a container of freshly sliced fruit, some toothpicks, and a napkin in the fridge for me to take with me. Very thoughtful. I hope to stay again, although now I've experienced being the only guest it'll be hard to top the stay I just had.
