Staff is great. Room clean and bed comfy. The property is run down. Main corridors are musty. It is up a steep hill from the cbd making it not highly walkable.

Heritage hotel with spectacular views & a nostalgic charm as well as pianist playing in the bar area to enjoy a drink & snack. Stayed 3 nights though overpriced. Unfortunately housekeeping was lacking as beds left unmade, dirty tea cups, snot on one of the pillow cases, carpet need a thorough clean to remove their odour.

A very pleasant venue and ambience. Excellent views of the Blue Mountains. The staff were all extremely friendly and courteous. Wonderful heritage experience.

Disappointing
Staff is great. Clean and tidy. Good location. Hotel is old and dated. Shower didn’t work well. TV didn’t work. Too make it all worse, the kitchen closed earlier than scheduled so we didn’t get breakfast. Despite the lovely front and bar staff we won’t be returning.

Lovely property with eclectic furnishings. My only concern was when walking to the property from the station I was faced with steep stairs. Carrying my luggage up them I considered almost dangerous. It was only after that I found a safer option at the back. There were no signs indicating this alternative entrance to the building.

Everything was perfect except our stay too short. We're really loooking forward to going back. It's not often one experiences 'a perfect stay' with polite and authentic hospitality. Making one feel really special, still happens here!

Happy with our choice. Easy walk from the railway station and to the "main drag". Nice "old world" charm, reminiscent of the good old days but with updated facilities. We had a front room with nice views. Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Nice, helpful staff.

The property was good and unique but the house keeping was poor as there was dust in thevrooms, the towels were not changed .

Quiet, old, charming hotel. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Lovely dining room. With the quiet comes the walk. It's not far - only about 1000 yards from the train station - but there are lots of hills in Katoomba. Dragging our oversized suitcases from the train station was a pain. But it was a small price to pay.

We were welcomed in a very friendly manner by Nigel. The views from our room were wonderful. However, night roadworks outside kept us awake until 3am. The hotel should have been aware that this would be happening and made guests aware. After finally getting to sleep after 3am, we were then woken by music at 6:30am. We were above the restaurant and the music coming from the speakers in the restaurant ceiling, came up through the floorboards into our room. We informed attendant at checkout who was not interested and said "see you next time". We will not be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Heritage Mountain Hotel. The staff were excellent and catered to each guests needs. We enjoyed relaxing in the lounge after our busy day hiking and sightseeing in the Blue Mountains. We loved having a drink and watching the sunset, while listening to the pianist.

We stayed in the spa room with mountsin views and it was amazing. The room was large, well set out with a very roomy bathroom. Plenty of parking and the staff were very friendly.

We had a great stay at this historic hotel. The view from our room was incredible, the proximity to Katoomba St made it easy to walk in of an evening to enjoy the local restaurants. We also loved the piano bar and breakfast at Mountain Heritage. We would love to come back to enjoy another stay and dinner sometime. The hotel could do with a bit of TLC and attention to detail including making sure windows and mirrors are cleaned properly and mould is removed from bathrooms. The staff made sure we were well looked after and I would recommend this place to others willing to look past the little things and wanting to enjoy a relaxing stay in a beautiful classic stlye hotell, which is exactly what this place delivered.

This is a well located hotel not far from the station and a miles walk from some of the best sights of the Blue Mountains. The decor and general ambience has a feel of yesteryear but the hotel was clean, the breakfast plentiful, the staff helpful and the views from the restaurant very good.

A wonderful old hotel in the heart of Katoomba. Our room was huge and the bed extremely comfortable. Easy parking, easy walk into Katoomba for shops and restaurants, however, the hotel has a great bar and restaurant offering stunnjng views. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Recommend staying here for a night or two.

Rooms are a little dated, would be good to advise of room views or not prior to booking. Nice staff with clean, neat and tidy ammenities.

we visited Leura for the Garden Festival and Mountain Heritage Hotel was nice and convenient. We were fortunate to have a corner room which allowed us to have windows on two sides of the room. The staff was amazing! Nigel and the team were very friendly, hospitable and professional. Was a pleasant stay.

Blue mountains stay
Pictures and condition are out of date. Old hotel, really needs a refresh. Comfy enough, bed, bathroom functional (although looked old, shower actually refreshing). A reasonable stay, nice view and good location to scenic world, local area.
