Bugs

Posted 15-Jul-2016
This is a terrible place to stay. My first room, I had a bed bug crawl across my arm. They switched us to a different room, I pulled the bed spread back and found a dead bug, the pillows and sheets in this room were filthy. After switching us to a 3rd room which smelled of urine badly, I finally fell asleep.

Probably wouldn't stay here again

Pros: *The staff was, without exception, extremely friendly and helpful. *The breakfast selection was pretty good, featuring scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, pastries, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, and fruit. *The room was fairly big, with a desk, chair, fridge and microwave. Cons: *The room was kind of run down. About half of the light bulbs in the room were either missing or burned out, and the sink was clogged up and didn't drain properly. *I found a bug crawling on my pillow, which my fiance thought might have been a bed bug or louse.

Not close enough to IU

The hotel was adequate. Could use an update. Not as close to Bloomington as we had hoped. A good 30 minute drive to the University. Really would not have described this as Bloomington area.

They should learn to put couples on top floor so they are not as disturbed by high school groups and families with young kids running around. Not enough food because of large group of teenagers. Bed Hard, pillows terrible and small although they give you 5.

Comfortable and Convenient at a Reasonable Price

Posted 29-Feb-2016
Pros: Room keys worked every time, room was spacious, location convenient to shopping, restaurants and major access routes. Breakfast in roomy dining area.
Cons: Some plumbing issues needed attention: slow drain bathtub, toilet running. These are common problems easily fixed.
Location: Convenient to shopping, services, restaurants, highways. Easy access for parking.
Motel staff was friendly and accommodating. Arrived late and room was ready and as advertised. Breakfast was in roomy dining area and included choice of hot/cold items each of 4 days of my stay. Room was nicely cleaned daily.

The hotel was cold. Advertise a full breakfast buffet but no meat on the buffet and the breakfast potatoes were sitting on the counter Ice cold.when I asked attendant about it was towed that's the way we do it in the Off season. Will not stay there again when we return next year to go skiing
