Stay to attend wedding
Staying here in order to go to a wedding at the Larmer Tree Gardens. Nice cottage in a very pretty village, and enough space for six adults. Parking is not by the cottage so be prepared to drop off bags and park elsewhere.

Delightful and cosy cottage in Dorset village
The setting is beautiful in this quiet and beautiful village in wonderful rural Dorset. A spacious front garden and a very quiet and restful setting. Very comfortable beds and sitting room furniture. Sufficiently equipped kitchen. Second shower room very helpful. Could not find spare bedlinen and happily did not need it. The carpets had pet hairs though fortunately we did not allergies so greater care with cleaning is advised. We certainly enjoyed our short stay in the genuine Dorset cottage and village.

5/5 Excellent

Great cottage in beautiful village
Overall a nice cottage with 3 good sized bedrooms, hanging space in all bedrooms would be appreciated - as would a coffee machine, knife sharpener and some more mirrors (only 1 small in 1 bedroom and the small cabinet mirror in upstairs bathroom). Received a message saying it was ready a bit earlier than the 4pm check-in, which was very thoughtful and much appreciated.

4/5 Good

Pretty country cottage
A pretty and well equipped cottage in a lovely small village. Easy parking at 50 metres. Good shop and pub at 100 metres. Cottage comfortable, some aspects should be upgraded eg downstairs shower, but perfectly usable. Attractive garden. Comfy beds. Needs a cafetière. A small plumbing issue was very quickly sorted out. We liked it very much and would go back.

3/5 Okay

Primrose Cottage
We enjoyed our stay in Dorset and the cottage was adequate. The downstairs was spacious and reasonably furnished, the kitchen sufficient for our needs and an up-to-date TV and Freeview box. Upstairs, the bathroom was modern and very clean. Some of the windows had black mould on the frames as did the wall in one of the bedrooms.; the property had a smell of damp. When we booked, one bedroom had two single beds but on arrival contained only a double bed causing some inconvenience. The major concern was the outside of the property. On arrival we were faced with a very overgrown and untidy entrance into the garden - as they say you only have one chance to make a first impression. The property description describes an outside eating area which proved to be impossible to use. The table and chairs were dirty, as was the barbecue and the patio itself untidy and full of weeds. The back courtyard was dirty and overgrown and unpleasant to look at through the kitchen window.
