"Large, clean rooms and friendly staff. The location is really nice - tucked into the woods a short drive away from tourist sites. Lots of kids and families, but still private. Only downside was that the rooms aren't soundproofed, so you can hear people moving overhead. But everyone was respectful and quiet, so this was not a problem during my stay. Would definitely recommend!"

"After my initial reservation elsewhere fell through at the very last minute, this motel came through. After a hot, stressful afternoon, checking into a room with excellent air conditioning was fantastic. The room was small, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean. I paid more than I would have if I wasn’t pretty much desperate, but this place saved the day."

"Good location, everything in walking distance. Traveled alone and felt very comfortable hanging out at the bar downstairs for dinner. The staff was super friendly and the food was excellent. The band stopped playing around 10:30 and the place was quiet enough to sleep after that time. My room was simple but comfortable."

"Over the 4th of July weekend, some days breakfast was not served; I should have been told in advance. Also, advanced notice is needed regarding the beds; all are elevated in the main house, requiring wooden steps (precarious for me); the beds of regular height are in the carriage house. Customers need to be forewarned and given a choice."
