"The Dakota is a fabulous place to stay! I truly did not want to leave the hotel. The hotel is new and it is beautifully decorated. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The room was comfortable and cozy. Unfortunately, we did get a chance to dine at the hotel. We did however have a cocktail and snacks. They were perfectly made and delicious. I would recommend to anyone a stay at The Dakota. "

"Saturday night stay, booked standard room it was gorgeous very modern and comfortable. Location is fantastic for some food and drinks round Quayside and then market on the Sunday. Will stay again. "

"A great property with leisure facilities and parking close to Durham (<10 minute drive or park and ride opposite carriageway) Room was lovely but surprised no air conditioning or fridge and it did get a little hot overnight "
