An old hotel

Posted 08-May-2016
This hotel is a bit worn. The room was fine and the restaurant food good, although the menu was limited. There are no restaurants within walking distance so you are limited to the hotel or driving.

Modern decent place

Fairly modern hotel with views of the Sea. The room is nice and big with a minifridge and decent bathroom. The young man at the front desk was extremely helpful. Overall this is a decent place to stay when visiting the area. Though only that could use is newer carpet.

Nice hotel overlooking the Adriatic beach. Front desk was less than helpful--we ordered rooms for 2 adults and 1 child on hotels.com which said they would bring up a cot. They wanted to make us wait until the next day for the cot and we had to get "ugly American" on them before they relented. Very nice complimentary breakfast and free garage parking.

A very pleasant hotel for anyone

Pros: Crazy Italians
Cons: Paying for the beach
Location: The only English people in the hotel. In the town.
We upgraded to a sea view. So much better and a good size room. Good facilities. I was pleasantly surprised. Nice swimming pool. I used the well equipped gym. Good location. We used the stoney private hotel beach but found a better sandy one a short car ride away. Very nice local town of Bisceglie. Breakfast was fine. Shame orange juice wasn't fresh. A good choice.

Not a bad location.

This hotel is about a 3.5 rating. It's location was fairly convenient, a short walk to the beach, further(3 blocks) to the private beach which was a bit of a joke since there were lots of locals everywhere. They also wanted a 10e to use the beach chairs and umbrellas. The pool was large and clean. The dining room was quite lovely and the food was also quite good. It is not close to anything else but if you have a car, it is only a short drive to good restaurants and shopping etc.

Nicotel Bisceglie

The hotel was wonderful and well maintained. The staff was helpful and courteous. The pool was clean. We ate dinner at the restaurant and had a delicious meal. The only negative was that I expected to be able to change US dollars to Euros and the hotel did not provide that service.

location, value

good as long as you are traveling by car as it is a long way from the train station, on the other hand very close to the beach the breakfast is fantastic together with the view where you are eating as you have the pool just outside the windows - there is a Spa that looks nice and I am sure if you have a get away weekend this would be a good place to go the one bad thing - no info about the €8 cost/day at their private beach which only gave you a chair

Fine location

We chose this hotel because of other reviews. It's very clean and comfortable. Rooms similar in size to those in the U.S. The air conditioning works well, the bathroom is nice with the traditional small shower, the internet is fee-based, and parking is free and secure in a garage. We ate at the hotel restaurant twice as there were limited choices within walking distance. The prices were fair and the food is fine, but nothing special. Overall, we were satisfied with the choice. It's clearly one of the nice hotels in the area.

Well located

Stayed here for 2 nights in early April (for football match in Bari). Had a nice room overlooking the sea .... room was supposed to be set up as a twin (but wasnt). Eventually got sorted out. Breakfast was average, plenty there but not much variety. Swimming pool hours seem to suit the outside community rather than the guests.... very limited hours available if I wanted a swim. Very handy for Bari, as there are good road & rail links. Good for a night or 2, not much longer.
