"I gifted a 2 night stay for my dad and his partner, they stayed in superior double room, they had a lovely time, said the bed was large and comfie and bathroom was a great size, the extra touches with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel was lovely, they really enjoyed their breakfast, plenty of choice on the buffet and the hot food was hot, they also said they enjoyed their evening meal in the restaurant, great sized portions, evening entertainment was a bonus, staff were lovely, very friendly, well done mackays thanks for making their stay so enjoyable,"

The presence of a portable fan in the room and the fact that you can't open the window more than a tiny bit may indicate that it could get unbearably hot in the summer. Weather was cold and wet during my stay."
