I was very impressed how quickly and polite the staff where at booking in ,the service of free tea and coffee was an excellent idea ,the room was spotless and the toilet and shower room very clean ,in all excellent value for money

O had to proof each time what my room number was and my name because each time coming in and out of the airport i had to get the card reactivated and it was a pain so it needs to be better organised on that sense.

Rooms weren’t cleaned to a good standards. Would have expected better given the priced paid for the room's. Convenient to airport. Easy check in. Food was pricey but it was good. As it is at the airport expected it would be expensive.

Whilst the staff at the property in person were welcoming, actually getting hold of anyone to help prior to the stay was impossible. The facilities in the room were basic but fine. The fact that parts of the room had not been properly cleaned was not. At the price that was charged, the room fell short of expectations.

My review relates to the almost impossible way Expedia prevents you from cancelling a booking. Tried to cancel within the time period stated, system would not recognise my itinerary number and/or email address. Followed the procedure carefully, no mistakes and still could not make the cancellation. Now charged for a night which was not required. A refund would be helpful.

Difficult to walk to IBIS hotel from Birmingham international train station as not sign posted. Mattress was very soft.

This may be a budget hotel but the rooms was spotless and staff were very professional and sociable. The restaurant was excellent especially the quality of the breakfast.

Didnt expect too much but even still disappointingly tiny room and common areas crowded, could not get seats. The price was much higher then previously so no longer a good deal compared to the nearby hilton. Will probably not use in future.

I was poisoned. As a celiac , I have to have gluten free food and drink. After the meal I became very ill. I firmly believe I was given a non gluten free meal. I have sent in a complaint to IBIS Hotels

The hotel was situated conveniently for Birmingham airport. The booking was easy to complete, staff were helpful. Tea and coffee facilities in the room would have been useful.

Usual stop place when exhibiting at AUTOSPORT INTERNATIONAL. Good access to the NEC, great hotel, food is good, rooms clean & awesome shower.

Literally stayed here for a few hours before getting an early morning flight. Adequate for that-small room, shower with glass door so make sure you are friendly with the person/people you're sharing with. Can't comment on service as checked in, slept and checked out. 5 min walk from the airport and easy to also get into Birmingham if you have more time to explore.

Great staff and close to airport.
Stay here quiet often, great hotel for price and the distance to airport. Stayed here 29/12/23,arrived 9 in the morning and knew I couldn't check in until 3. Spoke to girl at reception(forgot her name) about checking in maybe a couple hours early. She let me check in there and then, really appreciate that as I was travelling 2 full days. Few hours sleep later went to the bar and had some drinks... Bar staff very friendly and polite even though they were really busy they got through orders very efficiently and with smile on their faces. Hats off to the staff the day of my stay. Great hotel would highly recommend and only 1 min walk to airport. Didn't have breakfast this time but would highly recommend it. Buffet style and great start to a day of travelling.

Awful Room
The room was awful, it looked like someone had spat on the wall above the bunk bed. No sockets at the head of the bed to plug my CPAP machine into. Will not stay there again.
