Property is a bit run down. Pricey but location is good. Room smelled like air fresheners. Like they were trying to cover up a smoker smell.

Facilities badly need remodeling, sheets were dingy no shampoo in dispenser, breakfast seating inadequate, milk was soured for children’s cereal, breakfast way average to below average

My husband and I had a great stay. Check in was quick and our room was very clean. The toilet stopped up when we checked out but other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Sink stopper was stuck so sink would not drain. Staff knew it was broken. Carpet very dirty. Very old amenities Everything in the hotel was old and dirty. AC was so noisy we had to shut it off. The staff was helpful.

The property is convenient to restaurants, shopping, and the interstate. The rates were reasonable and breakfast is included.

I had a remarkable stay at Hyatt Place Hoover, AL, largely thanks to Kimberly at the front desk. Faced with a tight schedule for a funeral, I arrived early, and Kimberly went out of her way to accommodate me, ensuring I had a room in time. Her empathy and professionalism were exceptional and made a difficult day much easier. The hotel itself was great, but it’s the people like Kimberly that truly make a difference. Highly recommend!

The evening crew was not helpful at all. Had to ask twice for sheets for the fold-out sofa. They had a bar but they didn't know or they didn't seem interested in making the drink I requested. Lights in the bathroom sink area didn't work. On a positive note, Rosie who was working the following morning was a gem! Super friendly and outgoing.

I expected it to be a little nicer for the price. But it was good enough and we had a fine stay. The breakfast food could’ve been better too. I’m not much of a complainer but it just didn’t quite meet my expectations. Overall it’s fine though.

Musty odor throughout, smelled like weed. No linens in room for pull out bed. Big stain on pull out bed mattress. Saw underaged kids checked in without supervision. Breakfast was ok but no black tea available. They had bagels but no cream cheese available. Seems like poor management

This is a very nice hotel. Everything was spotless, the front area has many nice places to sit, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. We had one small problem with the room and they sent a maintenance guy up within a few minutes to fix it. The room itself was very nice - spacious, good bed, nice couch and desk. Overall very good.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. However we booked a room with 2 queen beds and a pullout couch and were given a room with 1 king bed. The only other room they could offer us a room with 2 queen beds and no pullout couch. Only given 2 towels for a family of 5 and when we tried to call the front desk/room service it was a busy signal all weekend.

Housekeeping only made one bed in my double room on day 2. They provided 2 towels but no wash cloths or hand towels on day 2. There was what looked like a booger on shower curtain when we arrived. The iron didn’t work in the room. When we called to tell front desk we didn’t have wash cloths or hand towels, we were told they would be waiting at the front desk when we are ready to pick them up. I felt someone should have brought them to us since they forgot to place them in the room. Cafe staff was very kind, and breakfast buffet was good, though there wasn’t very many options. I probably would never stay at Hyatt Place again. The website also says there is a 24/7 marketplace to buy food, when I asked staff they were unaware, but said it’s probably coming soon.

I hated the fact that I was roomed beside the elevators. The first couple of nights I wondered what the roaring during the night was. Because of the roaring I did not sleep well and falling asleep about 3:00 am. My classes were at 7:00 am. For a businessman, it would not be wise to have them room close to the elevators. That area is much too noisy.

The beds were super comfortable, breakfast was good & it was an overall beautiful hotel. Favorite part is probably the location because it’s literally right in the middle of everything we came to stay for. 🙂
