    Bad elevator and luggage rollers.

    The elevator was broken down. They ask us to use the elevator across the other end of the hotel. The luggage rollers were terrible. The one we used to push the luggage across the hotel came apart. he room had no towels. Attendant had to bring us the towels. The breakfast attendant appeared to be mad at something. Not a comfortable feeling having fast.

    The room had a string smell of cleaning fluid. Like they were masking something. I asked for a different room, and they said they didn’t have another. I will not be staying there again.

    I did not like that my room was right next to the door to exit outside. Every time someone would enter or exit, the exterior door would slam. It was so loud, it would wake me from my sleep. Also, there was a designated smoking area outside of the door so when someone was smoking and the door would open or close, the smoke smell would enter at my door way!

    Even though we arrived well after 5:00 pm, we had to wait to check-in. Apparently someone had to check the room. I travel with my daughter, daughter-in-law, and 5 granddaughters. Their Christmas always includes an out-of-town experience. There were plenty of beds for all of us and the beds were comfortable. However, the scent of aerosol was so strong in the room we were glad to make our way back to the lobby for the managers reception. We were disappointed further when we found no manager’s reception in the lobby. I count on this experience for the girls. It’s a safe way for them to enjoy the evening out of town while allowing the adults time to relax. They count on the social experience. The pre-teens love finding a table of their own for girl talk. We love the safe environment of the hotel. We tried to make due with coffee around the fireplace but two of the coffee pots were empty and the other was cold and stale. Other guests were in the lobby under the same circumstance so I asked for coffee to be made. Fresh coffee was made but I did not get to enjoy it with my family. My daughter and daughter-in-law decided to take the girls out to a restaurant. I was too exhausted from the drive to join them. I understood the reception was canceled because of the holiday but found the menu posted on the refrigerator in the room. There was no standard message declaring receptions would not be held on holidays. So I felt slighted by the whole experience.
