Just What We Wanted

Location: Near New Street Station, the Bull Ring, the Hippodrome Theatre.
The Hotel is a few minutes walk from New Street Station within walking distance of shops, theatres, museums, etc. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent. We would certainly use it again.

Funky hotel close to Shops and Theatre

Pros: Everything
Cons: Just a sign at the NCP car parking showing how to enter hotel from back entrance - we walked all the way around in the rain.
Location: Close to Alexander Theatre and Central Station shops
Very friendly reception staff - had sorted my request for a walk-in shower and extra pillows with no fuss. (Had originally booked at Radisson Blu - an Executive Room, they couldn't meet my requests so they offered to DOWNgrade me free of charge, wow so kind- so cancelled) Reception area nicely decorated and had a 'living room' feel. Rooms clean, comfy beds, lovely shower. Had our evening meal there and that was good too. Breakfast was excellent and staff very attentive. Would recommend!!!

A good centrally located hotel close to the railwa

Pros: the staff are very naturally very pleasant.
Cons: There wasn't an extractor fan in the bathroom.

Zentrales Hotel in Birmingham

Pros: Die Lage
Cons: Betten etwas härter
Location: Zentral, alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten in der Stadt zufuß erreichbar.
Für einen Kurzbesuch in Birmingham ausgezeichnet. In direkter Nähe zum Bahnhof, Altstadt, Einkaufzentren und Restaurants. Für meinen Geschmack war das Bett etwas zu weich und über eine gefüllte Minibar hätte ich mich auch gefreut. Also unbedingt Wasser mit auf das Zimmer nehmen ;-)

lovely hotel but cold room

Cons: staff attentiveness
Location: Birmingham City Centre right by Birmingham new st station
Barely slept and froze the first night I stayed due to heater/aircon not working properly. I called reception to advise and they sent up a small heater but due to size of room this didn't do anything. had to chase them to get maintenance to look into the issue, no follow up I had to chase again. Other than than was a pleasant stay.

convenient position, with nice rooms and bar

In the bathroom there was no shower curtain or mat to put into the bath to prevent slipping. These were reported to housekeeping via the room cleaner and were rectified.One light was not working in the bathroom but we didn't realise in time to report it.

Problem quickly solved.

The heater did not work. I was given an extremely efficient electric heater. When I got back to the room it was so hot I had to open the window. Overall this hotel has incredibly well trained and effective staff. I will definitely go back.

Over priced . Bad experience

Upon arrival at the hotel myself and my partner found it difficult to find the entrance to the hotel ... not signed very well resulted in us getting lost..and this was from the main road. Check in was quick and easy. Staff were very very polite and helpful... the room was a little disappointing. Marks on lamp shade and skirting... and tea stains on floor near bin. Our main concern with the room was the heating system which was none functional... turned on the heating as it was a very cold and windy day .... nothing happened and we guessed that it would take a little wile to heat the room .... it never ... and we spent the whole night freezing in our hotel room. There were no extra blankets to assist with this situation. And then to top it off my partner found the hotel room over £100 cheaper than I payed. Would I stay again....no .
