Excellent location, friendly staff

Hotel location only 3 min walk from grand central station , shops restaurants and Bars, hotel staff friendly and helpful cleanliness throughout the hotel was very good, our room was clean and except able although a little tied , due to the location outside noise could be a problem to some, breakfast was plentiful with lots choice, kitchen would be better to keep topping up hot trays on self service station on regular basis to help food from drying out. On the whole food was good. Would recommend

Good hotel close to the station and shopping

Very easy location only 2 mins walk from the station. Bullring shopping centre only 5 min walk and reasonably quiet for a hotel in the city centre. Only bad thing was because the room was so big and heating didn’t work that well it was a bit cold. They did provide an oil radiator for the room though so that helped.

Very central and cheap for what you get

Perfect place to head back to after a night out in Birmingham, very central, quite small but I honestly don't know what more you could want from a hotel room for this sort of stay, not luxurious but fresh, clean and comfy

Nice hotel close to Birmingham New Street

Pros: Location and facilities great.
Cons: Breakfast charge was a little steep at nearly £10.00. Had there have been a cheaper option I would probably have had breakfast at this hotel.
Location: All city centre attractions close by.
Excellent for an overnight stay in Brum. Very comfortable and easy for travellers.

Weekend in Birmingham

Pros: Central
Cons: Alterations and Staff
Central Hotel, good location, because it is central tends to be noisy. At the time of our stay they refused to accept Scottish Bank Notes which was a bit condescending if you are Scottish. Central Heating/Air Conditioning was faulty but electric fire in room offset this on a cold weekend. One lift servicing 9 floors, which at peak times was a real bind if you wanted to use it. Been renovations ongoing in this hotel for the last two years. I would advise anyone to choose one of the many other central hotels for a better experience.

Great city center location.

Hotel is easy to get to. Staff was very helpful. Overall value was good. The bed was not the most comfortable. Overall we will go back to this hotel.

Deluxe room well worth the extra

I stayed in a deluxe room which was amazing. Huge room, very clean, lots of plug sockets all with additional USB charging sockets, nice big bathroom as well with a great shower. I've stayed in loads of hotels all over the country and this was one of the best I've stayed in

Good location. It appears as though they are undergoing some extensive renovation but the room was clean and comfortable. It is in a great location near the central train station.
