This is a nice hotel in an idyllic setting. Quiet, peaceful, affordable, and beautiful. Great experience except for two things: (a) the whirlpool tub in our suite wasn't completely functional (only 4 of the 6 whirlpool nozzles worked), and (b) the $11.95 per person cook-to-order breakfast we paid extra for as part of our reservation was a disappointment. Regarding the breakfast, the food was good once we got it but the restaurant staff was overwhelmed by the volume of guests on Saturday morning and the service therefore ended up lacking while the atmosphere was chaotic (i.e. - three self-serve coffee bars, all empty). It was a disappointing way to end an otherwise enjoyable experience. My advice is to avoid the restaurant if your plan is to sleep late on Saturday morning and then go to breakfast (after 9:00 a.m.). If you opt for the hotel breakfast, beat the crowd by going early. I'll definitely stay at this hotel again but, next time, I'll sleep as late as I want and then have a peaceful breakfast at a Cracker Barrel somewhere.

I am sorry to hear about the issues you encountered with the jetted tub in your room. I will have them checked to get the jets all functioning.
