I won’t be back! The 2 day desk staff personnel this weekend were not very friendly and almost hateful. During the 2/3 day stay, there was an issue with my reservation, which not knowing at the time was my fault, and was then confronted at the room by 3 of that same day staff in a very accusatory and rude manner to come down to the front desk to “get it handled!” At no time was there ever any empathy or kindness shown for their possibly being a mistake. It was like they just want to be aggressive and verbally fight, and to toss us out of the room like squatters. Once down at the desk, I realized it was my mistake and apologized and was able to make another online reservation to stay in the room. No apology was accepted by me and or given by them, just attitude like they were put out by dealing with it, and almost disappointed they didn’t get to toss us out. The next day at check out, with the same day staff, there was another issue with getting printed copy of my bill(s). I was told they don’t print them and have to wait for Hotels.com to send it. I know this to be very false since I travel a lot for work, use many hotel chains, and they all print them for me, even this chain. Again, just like they wanted to be difficult because they could. Room cleanliness was moderate. The bathroom was worn looking, moldy shower area, bad grout, shower door loose/broken, barely any hot/warm water in shower, etc. This hotel was not a good representation of typical Hampton Inns, poorly run.
