Poor service in a stinky room
Stopped several times but might be the last tiny room that stank told reception wasnt moved but was given airfreshner had to cancel 2nd night dudnt get any money back understanding as gone into second day but asked if i could have a voucher for the breakfast i had paidfor butcouldnt have as I've visited hotel before and would be back thought it would be ok got told a straight no very poor relationship. Its ok having pretty girls on reception but not if they dont know hospitality

Good hotel
It is a nice hotel.and has a good breakfast.It is spotless and has all of the mod cons. The duvet is very thin and it was very cold. The heating did not work. The walls are very thin and you can hear other people's conversations. Apart from that it was good.

Building needs maintenance or price needs review
The staff were really friendly and helpful. However, the room was cold. There was no hot water and they told me I have to let it run for 10 min before it warms up which is such an environmental waste. Eventually it dies warm up but it’s not hot. The cleaner never cleaned my room and I stayed two days. The soap dispenser was empty.

Poor heating. Only a small oil plug in heater in November. Very cramped room but did like that iron and hairdryer were provided. Door also did not double lock from the inside.

My stay
This was my first time staying here, as previously stated the shape of the building leads to an interesting room. The room was a tight fit but fine for a solo travels and more than suitable for my needs. The only complaint all but a small one was the pressure from the shower was not very strong although just about strong enough for my needs. The breakfast was as to be expected and the waiting staff were very good. One complaint that I have was with reference to the parking, at the entrance to the hotel is a parking meter which you can pay for the parking the machine has signs informing you to pay, which I duly did, on entering the hotel the reception staff in formed me that the parking was free to hotel guests and that if I contacted the head office I could get a refund. I would recommend that hotel guest are informed prior to arrival that there is no need to pay for parking.

This was a great place to stay! The only issue was the room was too warm . The heating couldnt be turned down. Apart from that it was excellent. Fully recommended will stay there again.

Very nice stay spoilt by the rudeness and agressive attitude of the chef ? at breakfast and dismissive attitude of the on diuty breakfast manager. For this reason I would not stay again.

Nice, clean but could do with a bit of tlc.
It's okay. Unusual round building. Rooms nice. A bit tatty, carpet burns, plaster and cracks in furniture and walls. But super comfy big bed and quiet so those are essential. The only ick i had was in the corner of the room i slept at there was a strong smell of urine. It was like the smell at the bottom of a hamster cage. I put up with it though. Told them when i left just so they could clean it. They were very polite and tried to compensate me. But i only told them to make sure they cleaned it for others.

Clean and tidy and overall a decent enough stay - my only negative comment is regarding the shower in my room - very poor water pressure (my room was on 7th floor) and it is a shower over the bath with a shower curtain feels a bit 1980's.
