"We chose this house because of the location. It is quite remote, in a very small hamlet about 10km up narrow roads. Villaviciosa is a lovely small town and worth a walk around. The hamlet of Piedrafita is exactly that, a hamlet. We were hugely disappointed that the local bar/eatery had suffered a fire and was out of action for the foreseeable. "We had a very relaxing stay at Casa Sira, which is a beautifully restored traditional house with all the modern comforts. The house is well equipped, and tastefully furnished with everything you need, comfortable beds and wi-fi / Tv etc. It is set in the mountains with stunning scenery all around. "Klein huisje, geschikt voor maximaal 2 personen. Voorzien van alle comfort. Goede uitvalsbasis om de streek te verkennen. De eigenaar is zeer behulpzaam en is altijd bereikbaar. Er is een klein tuintje waar je bij mooi weer kan inzitten met een mooi zicht op zee. Er is een goede douche, goede zetel, goed uitgeruste keuken en goede wifi. Het bed is smal maar goed. "Andoni is a brilliant host - communicating mainly by WhatsApp and replying very quickly to all queries. Great place for exploring the Picos and North coast beaches. The surrounding area is very picturesque and quiet. Arriondas is close by for shopping and Canis de Onga is a lovely town with lots to do and swimming in the river to cool off!"
