Great Hotel/Casino but thumbs down to smoking

Pros: Restaurants/food and casino bar (BEST bartenders!)
Cons: Smoking!! I know it is a right by law and casinos need to make money. Smoking should be more contained to casino and NOT in common areas
Location: Boom Town casino and Scarlet casino next to IP casino. You can boat and fish and thats it for the area
Wonderful hotel. Everything at your finger tips. Restaurants, food, room service food were spectacular espcially "32" restaurant! Pool is beautiful but small for the size of the hotel. Went for a concert, Studio B is great but there were only one bartender per station! No cashier, nada! I spent 35 mins in line for a drink then sat down because I was missing the concert! Studio B needs mor exits post show. The casino was like most other casinos I have been too. I am not a smoker, never have been, so the smoking was a big issue for me! I have terrible allergies and could not spend much time in the casino or common areas that allowed smoking. Our smoke free room actually did not smell like stale cigarettes! Formal restaurants did not allow smoking which was great! I would definately go back and I would recommend this to others!

The room as well as the building had a strong odor of smoke. The room as well as the floor we stayed on was supposed to be non smoking however it was not. It was a place to lay our had for the night. The bed was comfortable is also a positive.

The food was expensive and bad. Buffet was not worth the money paid. Not good variety and the casual dining was the worse experience. Wait around 35 minutes for a waiter and 50 mins for an ok food. I used close restaurants and Walt Mart 😳

Excellent Hotel and Casino

Pros: See above.
Cons: The room is excellent but the hot water in the bathroom is way too hot it could be dangerous to guests. I wish the casino was smoke free.
Location: The hotel and casino is conveniently located to I-10. It is close proximity to other casinos and restaurants.
The hotel and casino is very easy to get to and it is an excellent place to stay. Very clean with great amenities. Food is excellent. Service is excellent. The room is excellent.

Very slow to check in

There were 8 computers only 2 people checking in during busy hours. Parking lot was cramped. There were couple of security incidents- guards having to remove unruly patrons. No microwave in room. Would not go back

Beautiful property awful experience

Got an upgrade to King Suite due to overbooking. Wonderful property, fabulous suite, but no sheets for pull out bed. 2 small kids. 2 hours after 1st request, 4 calls and 1 trip downstairs, staff brought a rollaway bed, no sheets or pillow for pull out. On check out, it took exactly 1 hour to get our vehicle from the "complimentary" valet. Smokers occupied ever square inch of the hotel lobby area so wait was unbearable.
