Interior lights in the room were hard to find!!! Had to grope around in the dark to get lights on!

Liked the location, walking distance to downtown. However, the lodge is old and in bad need of updating. holes in walls, dirt caked non-working bathroom fan, worn spots/stains on toilet seat, mildew and bad stain on sink and caulking, mildew/dirt around window sill, stinky old carpet. The bedding seemed to be pretty fresh and clean but we didn't want to walk around the room in bare feet.

We always stay here because it's old fashioned Montana, plus a good value. It's not a decadent stay, so if that's what you're looking for, this isn't it. But it's kinda cool and retro and laid back....we bring our doggies and they are happy.

I had to listen to my neighbors talk into the early hours. No one on duty to get them to stop. Just when they would stop and i would think finally, they would start again. Transients and homeless everywhere afraid to walk my dog.

I LOVE staying here! The rooms are comfortable and quiet. It feels as if you are absorbing history, the back story is beautiful. The courtyard parking is a bit tight but plenty of space in alternate parking.

I like the dude rancher style and decor, though i was hoping for an upgraded room. The heater fan was noisy and it took some time to get the room heated. My stay was satisfactory.

Staff was very friendly and nice. The building is very aged hence historic. Mattress needs love, sheets are scratchy, i could not get the cool air to come on it was very warm in the room. Even with brick walls i could heart guests talking outside etc.

Liked, Located down town, Very nice staff, arrived within 10 minutes when called, Decent room. Hot coffee all night. grocery store 1 block away, Parking infront of room, when drivers can part between 2 lines.. Disliked, Locals roaming through the parking lot day and night, looking in customers vehicles. Abandoned car taking 2 spaces in limited parking area. Ants in the room, Remote for tv didnt work. It is pet friendly but, has no grass or place for pet to go. its all pavement. finally, i downgraded my room -17$ to a first level where i can watch my truck and, was told i had already paid online so they couldnt change the invoice. they ran my card when i checked out. paid 34$ for a lesser room with ants.

shower was disgusting!It was not cleaned at all! There was long black hair stuck to the back wall and pubic hairs on the soap dish.. Drunk people coming and going all night long!! YUK...VERY SKETCHY!!!!!

This place was exactly like you’d expect just by its name. The staff was awesome. Definitely affordable. Our room was cleaned with fresh linens towels everyday. We wish they had breakfast. They have a cool lobby. Gives you the feel of a place a cowboy might stay. Only downside was no bathroom fan and jetted tub didn’t work.

Super cool old Cowboy themed hotel. A little tired but that’s part of the charm. The staff was very very friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned and made up every day perfectly. Not usually available at this price point for sure. I would stay again. Would love a danish or the like to be available in the am.
