"Beautiful lobby and love that there is Carmel Bakery on site.
Standard rooms are pretty basic. The rest of the hotel looks dated, but clean.
Friendly staff. Good for family with little kids."
"Very charming and quiet cottages in classic motorhome style. Close to the Golden Rectangle and the beach, right next to the beginning of southward Big Sur highway, and across the street from a strip mall with a Safeway and some low-key restaurants.
Front desk is very helpful and has plenty of amenities for your comfort. Unlimited ice, coffee and tea 24/7, breakfast available for purchase from a food truck Th-Sun.
Pool is heated to a brisk 78 (you get used to it after some moving around!)
Cottages have wet bar kitchens with microwaves and even basic cutting board and knives if you're handy."
"Very comfy king bed and rustic charm enveloped the whole property. Teresa was awesome at check in and the breakfast was low key but so tasty - superb stay!! We’ll be back for sure!!"
"Wonderful little place - reminded us of being back in Rome. Will definitely stay again.
Would recommend checking that you have extra rolls of toilet paper and knowing to ask the front desk for ice as there is not a mini0fridge for your wines and cheeses, nor an ice machine. And Il Fornaio is not worth going to when you have so many other options in Carmel. It's quite generic. But the rest is wonderful. Enjoy your stay!"
