"My husband and I were looking for a quick weekend getaway from Auburn to have some R&R. We absolutely loved staying here. The king bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed morning coffee while reading on the swinging porch bed. We enjoyed sunbathing on the pier and swimming in the lake and I went for a few walks in the neighborhood. We drove into Wetumpka for dinner both nights. It's a really cute town - highly recommend watching the HGTV series where they revamped the downtown. Dinner at Our Place was delicious. One thing that was a little unexpected is that the water in this area has a very earthy taste, so we picked up a few gallons of drinking water from Publix in Wetumpka. We didn't get to meet the owners who were out of town but we met the pet sitter and their friendly little dog. We definitely plan on coming back for another escape in the near future."

"This property is amazing! The house is located on Lake Mitchell and it is beautifully placed on a hill where you can sit on the deck and look over the lake. It is breath-taking. The home was thoroughly stocked and the owners responded to us quickly. As a family we had so much fun hanging out downstairs in the "game room". We will definitely be returning!"

"We sooo loved our stay! Infact, after the very first night we extend our stay for another day!!! It was our best family vacation so far. We swam for hours (my 7 year old, 4 year old & I) off the deck while my husband was fishing and kayaking around! We later on all went kayaking! We played board games & cooked, we drove an hour to majestic caverns to see that, went to bass pro, dg was just like 3 miles down the road so if we really needed something we could go there, walmart was about 25 mins in Wetumpka, it was so beautiful & peaceful! We will be coming back! We had such a great time!!!! We were all so sad to leave but can’t wait for next time!"
