We were in town from the east coast for a bike race, and this home-away-from-home had everything we needed. It's roomy and cozy. The kitchen is well stocked. My husband is an incredible cook and absolutely loved the outdoor kitchen! It was nice relaxing by the fire pit every night. The beds are comfy.We were in very short walking distance to the Snow Summit lifts/village (not THE village of Big Bear that's in town with all the shopping). That was really nice since there was hardly any parking available because of the bike race. The lake, the really nice grocery store, Starbucks (if that's your thing) are all just minutes away. The owner answered any questions we had, and even sent us a list of favorite restaurants and hiking spots. If we are ever in Big Bear again, we will absolutely stay here. ##### Nicole L.
