"This was a nice condo with a kitchenette, coffee pot and microwave. It had a large shower that was really nice. This unit didn't have a whirlpool tub, which was fine, since it was 4th of July weekend, we weren't in the mood for a hot bath. Nice, quiet and the balcony was nice. Pretty view of Lake Superior. Parking out front of the building. Large bed and comfortable. Chairs and ottoman for sitting and relaxing after our hikes. Would have been nice to have dish soap in the kitchenette. My husband said that something to pad the door so that every time someone else in the building opened their door or the front door, it wouldn't rattle the door to our unit would be nice. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again."

"An ideal location, with a fabulous view of Lake Superior. Large decks on every room, really relaxing. The hotel is a bit outdated, the keycard readers were hit and miss, the front desk is not well staffed, but it was an enjoyable stay. There is a light breakfast in the morning, nothing to write home about. We did have an eagle fly past the deck multiple times each day, that was amazing! I recommend staying if you are looking for a low key weekend with a fabulous view."

"The property, the home and the host were wonderful. The house was just beautiful and had great lake views from the back windows. the lake was just a short walk out the back door. We were a family of 5 and dogs staying and everything was stocked in the kitchen so we could eat our meals there instead of restaurants. The walking paths nearby were great. Checkin and checkout were easy. Love this place!"

"Amazing - cant wait to come back! Would recommend. The listing was inaccurate though as it did not show loft with 2 twin beds (which there were)...had to call to confirm. My only blah was the check in person seemed a little annoyed to check people in...despite that being his job, stark contrast to others I spoke to at the resort who were super friendly."

"There were some issues that should have been attended to;1 the main floor bathtub drain was clogged with hair residue (gross) once we removed the clog the drain worked properly. 2 there were several light bulb either missing or not working. Overall we did enjoy our time there. These were regular maintenance items that would be noticed by regular inspection."
