8.4/10 Very good! (451 reviews)
The property is centrally located with clean and modern rooms.
There was a good selection and variety of foods for breakfast.
The hotel offers beach towels, beach umbrellas, chairs, etc. for guests' use which is a very nice touch.
We found all staff, especially reception to be friendly and helpful.
We have no hesitation in recommending the Mercure Biarritz and would definitely stay again.

10/10 Exceptional! (1 review)
This was an amazing place to stay!
We had the whole property, three floors, and the owners were very friendly with lot's of advice re places to visit. You should be aware the location is approximately 20 minutes away from San Sebastian in a quiet village.
The owners will come in and make a lovely breakfast if you wish and there is an Alcompo supermarket not too far away if you wish to shop.
Just look at the photos of this place and you will realize that if you are looking for a really unique place to stay, this is it.

8.2/10 Very good! (617 reviews)
"Uniquely run down and suffering from years of neglect. In the upper floors (>2) the walls, floors, and ceiling no longer enjoy 90° angles: off-putting and dizzying. No sign of the promised AC as temperatures rose to 100°F during the week. Staff seemed desperate for me to stay but I could never get ..."
