The beds and seating were comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen could use an update, but that isn't the reason we visit the beach. We would love to stay at 501 Farragut House again! Maybe we missed the memo, but we didn't realize that we need to check in at the Vacasa office across the highway before going to the condo. We used the code to get in to the rental and I called Vacasa to find out where we need to get parking passes from and I was told that we should have gone across the street first. No biggie, but it would have been helpful to know upfront. ##### George C. When we arrived the keypad to let us into the condo was not working. Upon entering the mattress for the pull out couch was on the floor. When we were retuning from dinner on Friday the keypad again was not working Had to call after hour and get sea colony security to let us in. The living room and kitchen have been renovated. The bathrooms desperately need renovation. My 8 year old was getting out of the shower when the door fell off and almost landed on her foot (it’s the very old sliding shower doors. The sliding glass door to the balcony was impossible to close but the maintenance person can quickly to fix it. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable with springs and the bars in my back. I saw a 3inch mattress topper in the closet but it was still in the box and I didn’t want to open it in fear of being charged. The mattress topper would have made it better. The unit is the farthest from the door to the beach so it’s a long walk. Overall, the main area was great, the rest ok with uncomfortable beds. ##### Jaclyn F. The unit is well-maintained and clean. The beds, sofa, and chairs are comfortable. The other furniture is also clean and in good working order. All appliances are reasonably new, clean, and worked well. The bathrooms are a bit dated, but clean and in good working order. One more serious issue - the combination lock runs out of battery quickly - we got locked out. Vacasa was responsive and the problem was resolved in about 45 minutes. One less serious issue -- the kitchen is not very well stocked so bring your own things if you intend to cook and don't want to make do. The balcony overlooked the beach and was delightful. The specific unit had a few issues which is why it’s 4/5 stars. It was lacking a few minor things (toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap). Nice location and looks just as photos show. We were disappointed in the cleanliness. Kitchen rugs did not look washed in months. Was hoping for more of a variety of pots and pans in the kitchen. Very easy to get to beach and restaurants. Convenient beach locker. Sleeping was a little tough- the beds were quite firm and pull-out sofa was somewhat slanted.
