    Wonderful welcome

On my arrival (my husband was cycling from Warkworth) I was immediately offered a fresh scone with homemade jam and cream, and a pot of tea, in the beautiful garden. I then felt guilty because Maureen did it all again when my husband turned up. We had dinner at a very pleasant pub a short drive away then retired to our very comfortable room, where every detail had been thought of. Breakfast was delicious.

Pros: The comfortable surroundings and the warm welcome.

    Cons: Nothing.

Location: Isolated location, a welcome break from the noises of the city.
