We found the accommodations to be very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Kathy was very accommodating and hospitable. We'll be back on our next trip to the area.

A Quiet Weekend Getaway

Posted 10-Dec-2015
Location: The Farm Table Restaurant, a mere 10 minutes away, is a must! Be sure to make reservations.
We booked a 2-night stay here, looking for a nice getaway for the weekend. It was just what we needed! The location is convenient to dining and attractions, but far enough away so as not to be disturbed by any traffic noise. The rooms were immaculate, the bed was quite comfortable, the private bath neat and tidy. Kathie, our hostess, was friendly and helpful. She provided a delicious full breakfast at a convenient time every morning, and offered suggestions of sites for events and dinner. She will give you all the space you need if you want to be alone, but we engaged her in conversation (because that's how we are) and thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. The great/common room with gas fireplace provided a comfortable space to read and relax, while we enjoyed complimentary tea and coffee 24/7. Will not hesitate to stay here again if we have the opportunity.

Gorgeous house, with huge comfortable room

Beautiful house, with amazing fireplace and vaulted ceilings. And the sheep penned outside provided built-in entertainment. =) Very nice woman runs it, and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Excellent spot.

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

Posted 10-Nov-2015 on Hotels
We had a great stay at the Log Cabin B&B. The room was clean, comfortable, and well appointed and we enjoyed having the sheep right off our private porch. Kathie and her husband were great hosts and the breakfast she cooked us in the morning was fantastic. We will certainly be back in the future!

Home away from home...

Posted 01-Nov-2015 on Hotels
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Log Cabin! The accommodations were absolutely perfect, our hostess, Kathie, was wonderful and attentive. Her breakfast was delicious! The Log Cabin felt like home, and I actually wanted to stay a few more days. Alas, it was time to continue our journey. We left the Log Cabin refreshed and ready for another day of our roadtrip through New England. Thank you!

the perfect bed and breakfast for relaxing

Posted 23-Oct-2015 on Hotels
We had an excellent New England in the fall getaway ... Perfect accomidations in a beautiful log cabin in the quiet woods of Massachusetts with plenty to do and discover in the sweet Mayberry like town and the very close Vermont border The fireplace and its inviting warmth in the main room set the tone .. And the inn keepers Kathy and Glenn were beyond friendly and accommodating , as if we were staying with relatives ...?definatly a destination point for another getaway.

A stay is a must

Posted 30-Sep-2015
Pros: Location, atmosphere, staff, breakfast = EVERYTHING
Cons: nothing
Location: Small local village nearby try one of Antonios pizzas for dinner a real taste of the real USA
If you can get one of the two rooms that Kathie lets out you MUST book this. Staying in this cabin in the middle of the forest is reason enough but Kathies home made pecan pancakes for breakfast are worth the money alone. Beautiful and such a change from the run of the mill corporate hotels
