Stay Away. Dont Bother
Where to start. Do not stay at this hotel. The pictures are very misperceptive. The lobby and common areas look so modern but once you enter the room; you realize that it needs immediate renovations. There are two separate old closets that take a lot of space in the room. In addition, the bed is split in half so basically twin beds attached to each other and are very uncomfortable. The room clean service was definitely not optimal nor did they achieved full cleaness. The worst part of it was at the bar area. The female bartender, whom had short blonde hair, was very rude to me and my girlfriend. She refused to give us ice when we asked for it when the night before the other bartender offered us. In addition, when we asked her to charge the room; she declined and said that there was no way she could do it. The night before, the other bartender gladly charged us our drinks to the room. She could of been nicer about the whole the situation and we would of not cared. Its her loss, for she was the only bartender we didn't tip. Room service was non-existent due to there "short of staff" status. overall very bad experience at this hotel.

This hotel was in a convenient location near trams and not too far from the Berlin Hbf. We were able to walk to the hotel from the tram. It is across the street from this lovely, huge park with many trees and fountains. So quaint! Church bells ring on the hour adding to the atmosphere. The hotel was very clean, the front desk was open 24 hours a day, the breakfast had many selections, and our room was great! Nice double size bed, comfortable mattress and comforters. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Not sure there is enough value for money
A little worn, but trying its best. Made the mistake of trying to visit Berlin during the Berlin Marathon weekend. For the rate I was paying, it did not meet up to my expectations. Nice folk at reception and no complaints about noise (felt like the only guest there). Still, I would have loved for a Bar that was open, a workout room and some of the other amenities I expect from a 4-star hotel.

Need to update the rooms
It was a bit disappointing because the pictures on their website are a bit deceiving. The bathroom was upgraded and clean but the rest of the room looked and felt very dusty and old. The sheets were clean however when we lifted the cushions on the couch, there were plastic wraps, crumbs and a bottle cap. There were 2 moths flying in the room as well. Their open buffet style breakfast was good. The staff was nice. And lastly, they have a very limited underground parking space that you may end up parking on the street.

This is a lovely hotel, it was our third trip. Unfortunately there are no longer facilities to make tea/coffee in your room, breakfast is expensive (we went to a cafe round the corner) & the bar rarely opened, which for a 4 star hotel is quite poor. It used to be so welcoming, relaxing with a beer after a day seeing the sights. The rooms are clean & comfortable though (ours had a great view of the Volkspark), staff are friendly & helpful & the chocolate santas left outside our room was a really lovely touch.

Most of the staff was not friendly. They often argued when we asked questions or made a request. We had to get a ticket every time we wanted to leave the hotel with our car. We also had to get inside more than three times because the parking garage said "occupied" even though we had reserved a parking spot for the duration of our stay. The cleaning personal was very friendly and thorough. The service staff at the desk and the bar was rude and not very helpful.

I love this place. The rooms are big and have a traditional, unique feel to them. It is posh without being expensive. The view of the park is beautiful, and the windows are soundproof if you need that. The location is my favorite thing - the Volkspark, multiple transit lines, the surrounding neighborhood.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, park opposite. Quiet location but not far to walk for food and shops. If you want to check in at the allotted time of 3pm call and arrange this, we had to wait until 7pm which was the only bad thing I can say as we enjoyed our stay there once we got the room.

Cleanliness is very good at the property and the cleaning staff does a great job and friendly. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Same goes to the restaurant. Great calm location opposite to a big park. No amenties provided. When I asked for a coffee maker they mentioned it will be charged 5EUR/day where other hotels provides it for free. I asked to cancel my breakfast for the last 3 days of the stay, well ahead, but it was also not possible. I stayed their around 14 days. Service can be improved.

There was no refrigerator or coffee maker in the room. There was no door security system. The door used an old fashion key that had to be locked from the inside. It would have been impossible to open the door from the inside in case of an emergency.

We have stayed here several times previously , we find the Hotel good in many respects apart from 2 simple items 1.no Tea or coffee making facilities in the room 2. No english speaking channels on the TV could not at least see BBC world news, which is free to subscribe too,Most annoying

Fabulous hotel

Lovely hotel.
Stayed in a Junior Suite for 2 nights. Very spacious with lovely balcony. Beds very comfortable. The kitchen had nothing in at all but asked reception to provide a kettle and mugs which they happily did. Lovely location. Will definitely stay again when visiting family.

Our suite are partial equipped with a balcony. Please take a look on the description. You booked the room a few ours before arrival. Unfortunately, we didn't have a suite with a balcony that day because they were all reserved. We hope for your understanding. In addition, we have decided for environmental reasons to ban equipment with high energy demand from the Hotel. Located right next to Volkspark Friedrichshain, Victor's Residenz-Hotel Berlin is a luxurious, quiet, contemporary property. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and accommodating. We were traveling at the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak and become stranded in Berlin. The hotel stayed open, extending our stay, and provided every regular service for us without complaint and managed to provide a very comforting and normal "home" experience for us during a difficult time. We cannot wait to return!

Victors Residenz Hotel provided all those touches that you used to get in a top quality hotel but which, sadly, are no longer provided. A sewing kit (which I needed), a nail file (which I used) and a shoe shine kit (which I will use). The breakfast buffet was probably the best I've ever had....

The staff are lovely. Very helpful and friendly. The reception seating/lounge downstairs are nice and it provides a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms I’m afraid do not match the downstairs. Tired and dated and in need of modernising. As are the bathrooms. Very clean hotel. We stayed for one night on business so I could live with it but would have overall been disappointed if staying on holiday.

Great location, lovely breakfast. Clean, comfortable. Friendly staff, except for Sven who mumbled and got cross when I found it difficult to understand him. Everyone else very welcoming and did their best to ensure we had a great stay. Close enough to walk to Alexanderplatz but far enough away to be quiet and lovely park opposite. Would happily visit again.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic upgrade on arrival. Good breakfast. Quiet hotel. Very good location away from the centre of Berlin but easy walk or 200 bus to the main sites
