no public transport
The inn is a good motel, good room, and friendly. Problem is that it is 30 mins walk from station and no public transport available- also uber very reluctant to go there. if you are going to Krystal thermen it is 50 minutes walk- no transport avaialble so fone if you have car but if not then don't go. ( unless u love walking).

Reasonable hotel.
Stayed 2 nights. Ok place to stay. Clean rooms, ok breakfast, parking available. Not much to do on site though. Indeed can alway travel around.

for a night stay on the road
We stoped for a night of sleep on our way to Poland, we got there in the evening but still we were able to eat (good) at the restaurant and had breakfast next morning, breakfast standard but thats perfectly enough. Rooms are nothing fancy u can see, thats an older hotel, perfect for the workers staying there from Monday to Friday, but for a night of sleep on ur way good. Thank u to the bartender and receptionist and cook everything in one person this evening, cause he is really a nice guy.

The staffs at the front desk are very nice. The guest room is clean. Free WIFI and free parking are offered. If you travel with a car, this is a nice place to stay.

Nice room, friendly staff. Good value for money for the breakfast and room. Dinner was also available at extra cost but mostly fast/snack foods.

The hotel was good, a little further out of town - but fine if you have your own vehicle - well worth the savings on price. Hotel was comfortable - good Tasty breakfast on offer. Free wifi Rooms comfy Good parking - boring surrounds.

Business overnight
Stayed for one night for a business trip. The staff is very friendly. Parking is right in front of the hotel. I got there after 11pm, but that was no problem. The room was standard but comfortable. The bathroom is nothing fancy, but good water pressure, and includes a blow dryer and soap (in the shower and by the sink) - a fact I was trying to find out on their website beforehand since I was traveling with carry on only. The bed was comfortable, I slept well. What did bother me a little is that in the morning one could smell someone smoking from the bathroom - might have been a room below or next door. My room itself was non-smoking and did not smell, neither did the bathroom the night before. The breakfast buffet was small, but sufficient - fair for 8 EUR, I think . The bread was delicious. Checkout was easy.

Good place to overnight
Short stay, just to overnight - room was small but tidy. Mineral water in the room for extra 3,5 Eur was unnecessary. Doors to the corridor clashed to often making noise.

Nice clean hotel, far from the City
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere, literally. Thank of it as a motel, its a 25minute walk to the train station and a 30minute train ride to Berlin. Other then that it is a clean and standard hotel, don't stay here if your aim is to visit Berlin, pay extra and stay somewhere closer.

Great value for money
We spent a night at Tulip Inn when spending some time at a nearby therme/sauna complex and for the money the hotel was very good, we really only went there to sleep. But the bed was comfortable, shower had good pressure and water was very hot. The front desk staff were friendly and the location was conveniently close to the motorway as well as the therme.

Stay was really nice and even though arrived on dec, 31st the staff was very gentle from check in till check out.

Great hotel at very competitive price!
Clean rooms, quite a good size. Very close to the motorway so a great stopover if you're going across Germany like we did. The only downside It could really do with a kettle in rooms!

Good hotel if you have a car
We had a great stay at the tulip hotel but if your not driving while in Berlin or at least have a bike.i wouldn't suggest it as there is little public transport from the train station to the hotel and we spent at least 2 hours walking pair day to get back. The taxi's are also rather expensive. Other than that it was great

I wasn't after a fancy hotel, just a bed for the night to break up a long road journey. The hotel was perfect for this. Inside the hotel is simple and effective. The absence of WiFi was notable. The breakfast room / bar is nicely decorated and also effective. Not within cooee of any major attraction. Use a sat nav to find.

Good hotel but far from public transport
I arrived in Tulip Inn on wed. 25/09/13. The hotel was fine for the kind of reasons I went there for. The staff were helpful and kind. The problem with Tulip Inn is that it is not well connected with public transport. They have a bus number 701, apparently, whose route is about 300 metres from the hotel. I spent 3 nights there, and went to spend an hour waiting to see how that bus looked like, but I did NOT see it once. The only alternative is to take a taxi, which cost 9 Euros, for a distance of about 8 minutes. Those taxis are not even reliable. I find it difficult to get one when I was leaving to go to the Banhof to catch my train to go to central Berlin and then go to Tegel airport. Someone in the hotel gave me a lift. Suppose that they were not willing? I could have missed my flight. I would go there with my family, but only when I have a car. This hotel is NOT in Berlin, but in Ludwigsfelde, which is outside Berlin. I requested to be in Berlin, NOT outside it. It may help if the hotel has its own bus to collect its customers from the Ludwigsfelde Banhof. Other than that the staff was fantastic. Thanks. John

Economical and convenient
Was looking last minute for two nights near Berlin with easy access and budget minded. The facilities were very reasonable for the price range. Had easy and direct access to Berlin by car but I noticed there were bus routes that ran out that far as well. It is about 20 km from Berlin central. The staff was very pleasant and they even had a plug adapter to loan for no charge. We did not include breakfast in our booking as we had a car and wanted to keep meal options open.

We picked the Tulip Inn because it's conveniently located next to the highway and the price was great. If you only need a place to sleep it's fine. The room was rather small but clean and otherwise decent.

This hotel was very pleasant. The rooms were nice and comfortable. However our air conditioning made a terrible lot of noise so that was bad. The service was really nice though and we experienced no problems with the reception. The business center had a computer for you to use with free Internet but it was slower than 52 kbps dial-up. It was useless! The location could be more convenient too.

This is a good place for a quick stay. close to the Berliner Ring so good access for travelers very clean and comfortable. no frills but fully functional and comfy.

Das Hotel ist erwartungsgemäß einfach, verfügt aber über sehr saubere Zimmer, ein tolles Frühstücksbuffet und total nettes Personal. Die Lage ist gut, um nach Potsdam oder Berlin zu reisen, die Umgebung Industriegebiet, aber Restaurants in unmittelbarer Entfernung mit dem Auto.

Sehr sauber!
Es gibt nichts auszusetzen. Bequeme Betten. Klimaanlage. Ein Bad wie neu, in dem nicht mal irgendwo ein kleiner Kalkfleck zu sehen war!!! Wir hatten nicht im Hotel gefrühstückt. 3 Tage Aufenthalt.

ür eine Nacht ganz ok
Die Zimmer sind klein aber ok, vor allem das Badezimmer ist neu renoviert. Allerdings war das Zimmer recht warm und es war nur über die Fensterlüftung möglich kalte Luft rein zu bringen, was nachts bedeutete dass ich etwas entfernte Strassengeräusche hatte. Das Frühstückbuffet ist nicht gerade groß aber trotzdem akzeptabel.
