Very clean. Chic design. Comfortable bed. Extremely nice, stylish bar/lounge with an special gin menu. Noise-insulated windows, so city noises were not a problem.

Very comfortable accommodations in the heart of Berlin but off the beaten path within walking distance of the main train station (15 min) and the Bellevue stop of the S-bahn and a nice park by the river full of people picnicking during the sunset . New and modern facilities with pleasant and quite atmosphere. Verny clean and comfortable rooms.

Berlin Business Trip
The hotel was welcoming and nicely decorated public areas. Standard Motel One look. The room looked so bare and soulless. It felt like it needed colour on the walls or some artwork. It was perfectly clean and comfortable but dull. The location was amazing. Minutes from Schloss Bellevue and the Tiergarten for an early morning run and the staff were very cheery and helpful.

Walking tour
Ever though it is a short walk from this hotel to the Brandenburg gate, it is quite a long way to the museums district. One must consider that before taking a risk.

The facility itself is in a very excellent condition, the breakfast was awesome. I’m just disappointed with the lady receptionist at night. I have a time constraint to see Berlin for 3 hrs the next morning so I asked her which metro station to get off. She gave me a map and marked Ostenhoff to get down and bec she’s a local I followed her so that I can see Berlin Wall. I am stupid to follow her and not google maps. So learned lesson, don’t ask directions from their staff, just use google maps. To cut the story short, I have to go back to alexanderplatz station and just check around, I didn’t have a chance to go yo Berlin wall as my train will leave soon.

The location is very good if you use the no100 bus. The room is clean, comfortable, quiet and stylish. The Italian restaurant which is front of the hotel is very good ( cost performance and taste).

Extremely friendly and pleasant staff. The rooms could have done with a little more facilities such as tea/coffee making facilities and a room safe would have been really useful for keeping documents such as passports safe. As the hotel didn’t have a restaurant it would have been useful for a short guide of local eateries noting that the surrounding streets had nothing that could be found through walking/ the internet. Overall a functional hotel for our needs

Slightly upgraded Travelodge
I stayed by myself and got a king size bed. For some reason they only gave me a single duvet for the bed. I would describe the room itself as a slightly upgraded Travelodge. The train was outside and very noisy. However the bathroom was very nice. I'd arrived late and the hotel didn't do room service at all. The surrounding area was a bit run down, as a lone traveller, this discouraged me from going out late at night

I am very happy with the hotel! First because I arrived very early for check out and they checked me in without a problem. That was a great surprise, as I was only expecting to leave my luggage there for a few hours. Besides, the hall is beautiful, the room is clean and comfortable, the staff is helpful, the breakfast looks great and it is affordable.

Good value but neighborhood lacks services
The staff were great, friendly and helpful. The room was small but generally okay. We would have appreciated more surfaces/desks/tables etc to spread out our stuff. When we first saw the room, we were dismayed to discover that the railroad tracks for S-bahn and intercity trains was more or less right outside our second story window, as we were worried about noise. However, the place was amazingly soundproof. You could barely hear the trains -- a good thing because they went by frequently. The breakfast was expensive, so we didn't take advantage of it. Found a cafe about 150 m around the corner instead. However, in general, there are very few restaurants or other services in the area near the hotel. It's a pleasant enough residential neighborhood but very quiet. The closest SBahn station (Bellevue) is a ten to fifteen minute walk. On the other hand, it's only about twenty five minutes to the Hauptbahnhof (Central Station). We walked there with our luggage when we were leaving.

very modern looking and chic inside {although rooms were trendily too bsre for me}. great staff. short walk to s-bahn, tiergarten and Brandenburg gate etc. comfortable, clean. only complaint is bar food selection is a bit limited, but tasty. rooms were smaller but functional. please get dome english channels... or US... ie not translated to German. wifi good

Very nice hotel
The personnel is very professional. However, in my opinion, the only problem with this hotel is the location. Even when I only spent one night , I was told by the front desk employee that there was only a Cambodian restaurant nearby that was opens in that area. It was around 9;30 pm Saturday night. According to what I saw, the area was isolated with almost no place to go to have some fun. There is a prison ( a real one ) located about three blocks from the hotel. Also, the access to this hotel was a little bit complicated by bus form the airport. Next morning when I took a taxi to going back to the airport, the driver charged me 18 euros, what I consider is a reasonable fare.
